these damn Bush ads are
hurting Kerry because all they are doing is taking half-truths and propogating them to their advantage--typical Rove strategy. Bush has no record to run on so they are pushing this negative crap. I just saw a new negative Bush ad this morning. It cuts Kerry off in mid-stream of his sentence, leading the misconception.

It's time to get serious with this crap. No holes barred --take off the gloves and fight and stop with the long-winded speeches. Kerry can't sit back and just let Bush push these lies. I watched how Ann Richards was slaughtered by these ads when Bush ran against her for governor in Texas. This IS HOW THEY WIN--BY DISTORTIONS AND LIES.

Where the hell is the person putting together the ads for Kerry. Damn what a bad way to start off the day. This has to be the most corrupt, egotistical, lying administration I've seen in my lifetime...@#$%&*%$@@...

2. Everytime a Shrub ad comes on...
I change the channel and watch another channel for at least 30 minutes. I wish I was a Nielson Family then I'd make it clear what I think of those lying BS ads. I hope that Kerry is starting up a major ad campaign. According to a recent story, we should be seeing more Kerry ads. They can't let Shrub define him with this BS.

4. I have just about worn out
the "mute" button on my remote. I lunge and grasp for it everytime I hear, " I am George Bush and I approved this ad," :puke: he's so incompetent he wouldn't know how to approve a trip to the bathroom.

What a load of shit!

5. I used to be part of a nielson household
Now I wish that I hadn't stopped responding. I wish I had a voice.
The nielson thing was fun until I started to add up all of the hours that I had spent with the TV on, and then compared that to the list of "to-do" items that were still undone.

In case you're wondering- No, I haven't gotten the stuff off the "to do" list yet.

6. Yes, no doubt
they doubled up on them and have you noticed they do this every time there is a Bush "crisis" such as a new book coming out or press conference. The must have "tripled" up on them after the press conference last week 'cause that's all I heard after his so-called crappy speech.

It's clearly becoming a pattern to saturate the airwaves to try and "re-inforce" his message;aka:lies.

Yep, Rove strategy is becoming crystal clear.

7. In a way you can't blame the creators of the bush ads.
If people are stupid enough to believe half truths, then they deserve to vote for bush. The bush ad creators are banking on stupid people.

13. they're lies
and yes I do blame the ones who make the ads. Stupid people can be educated with truths, but you won't see it from this administration.
I'm sick of it.

8. The plus side is
I don't think they aer getting a lot for their money. I mean the polls haven't shown much of a change; and it underlines the basic truth; they got nothing to run on positively, so their ownly hope is to tear down Kerry. I don't think that will be a winning strategy at the end.

11. The power of psychological reinforcement is strong
don't underestimate it. These ads are reinforcing negative preconceptions of Kerry which will be very hard to dislodge later.

9. They have already blown a wad
and have not made any significant headway. Once the conventions are over, our VP is out and running, and the nations attention starts to look at the election we will wittiness the sinking of the * gang and all the evil that they represent.
We won the last election.
* has no new voters joining his campaign.
No one that voted for Gore is gong over and many who voted for * have already changed their minds.
Many new voters are entering the field with the greatest majority of them voting against *.
We have never been more organized with so many groups working.
If it smells like a fish, get it out, it will only get worse!

19. You are whistling past the graveyard, randr.
No one that voted for Gore is gong over and many who voted for * have already changed their minds.

This is simply not true and is delusional. Many who voted for Gore will vote for Bush*. I've talked to several myself. For them personally, the economy isn't that bad and they LIKE Bush*s war policies. I also know no one who voted for Bush* last time that won't stick with him.

If I can find a few of these Gore to Bush* converts in my small circle, I have no doubt that there are a large number overall.

This election is going to be VERY tough to win for us.

22. I agree with dvrc243, amBushed
I live in western Colorado--very conservative. The Dem's here have never had so many people involved and many of my conservative friends, of which I have more than a few, never have a good word for GWB. Even the local VERY conservative papers are for the first time printing editorials in opposition to the Bush ideology, and letters to the editor have taken a left turn, maybe more like a Goldwater republican turn.
From my point of view I agree that we have one hell of a fight ahead of us but we are going to be joined by many people who care more about the threat to our constitutional system than to their personal political party loyalty.

10. I've broken 2 remotes so far...
mainly because i yell "HORSESHIT!" at the tv and throw the remote at it accordingly.

The ad about "kerry not supporting the troops" is one thing, but insinuating that bush does?
