Watching Bush live on Buffalo TV....He's unbelievably manipulative
All three Buffalo, N.Y. stations are carrying him. He's talking at Kleinhan's Music Hall in Buffalo, about the "necessity to renew the Patriot Act"....Watching him working over the people on the stage with him is sickening...He touches their arms, flatters and fauns over them....Full of cute little jokes about "I'm not a lawyer, so I'll let others explain" etc....By the way his dye job in his hair only lasted one day...It seems to be back to grey again today.....P.S....He's going to make the world more peaceful and free because history has called him to do that...:puke:

2. Interesting revelation
I talked with my 76 year old mom last night and jokingly asked her if she was going to see Bush when he came to town (she lives near Buffalo.)
She fired back that she has never voted for a Republican in her life and certainly isn't going to vote for 'this jerk'.

GO MOM!!

6. No no no - History is what happens after WE are all dead
So therefore it doesn't matter.

Try to keep it straight, okay? :)

9. funny that history
is measured by *moron as ~60 years...we'll all be dead?

or in reference to the Aug 6 PDB....all the Al Q info was 'historical data'....so, 6 years tops?

12. I have trouble keeping it straight...are we all dead in history or
will we be dead once history comes and we're not there? And how does history send you to do its work? And (ooh-ooh-ooh) how does history tell you when to be sent and what to do (and when to do it)?

Probably all those questions will be answered in the next Woodward book.

4. Just checked out the Buffalo News online.

Bush will be speaking to law enforcement people and politicians. THE MAYOR OF BUFFALO WAS NOT INVITED.

(Aside: Silver Creek! We used to rent cottages at Hanford Bay!)

Edit: The mayor is a Democrat.

5. Channel 2 Buffalo is showing a LARGE contingent of protestors
If CNN was showing this speech, you wouldn't see the protestors...
