are we in the middle of a 'cold revolution'? |
|
the cold war was theoretically a war of nerves rather than blood and guts, but it had it's casualties, like the fall of communism.
are we living right inside of a cold revoltion?

Our nation is sharply divided over progressive / regressive issues. There's Grover Norquist who wants to get government down to the size that he can drown it in the bathtub, there's Falwell and Robertson who won't be happy until you must say an official prayer just to buy postage stamps, one could go on and on all day on this.
There are some in my family who are conservative Republicans and one recently asked me to no longer engage him in any politically-related discussions, by any means - e-mail or casual conversation. He just doesn't want any challenges to what he knows is right. He says that when he hears an opinion that doesn't fit his notion on a topic he just ignores it, and I do believe him on that.
Given the sharply divided lines with the nation on just about any issue of importance, and given the Florida coup d'etat in 2000, I think there is some very hot but unseen simmering going on. Something very creepy is going on and the concept of a "cold revolution" or "cold civil-war" is pretty close to what is happening.

4. Yes, the pot is simmering |

We're being divided into camps, something has to give, I don't know what the catalyst is going to be, but I think we've been in an ideological cold war for some time now.

It is an inevitable outgrowth of System Rigging (many facets), Vote Stuffing/blocking (both manual and electronic methods), the End of the Free Press (not to mention the rise of a Totalitarian Bushevik Sub-Media), all of which combine to rtesult in a loss of voice for 2/3rds of the nation.
When people have lost their voice, their ability to effect change within the System, even the simple ability to receive reliable information from "trusted" news sources...
...what do you think happens?
That is why this 2004 "election" rigged or not, is the most important of our lives. If we can deliver Kerry a theft-proof victory (no less than 10% actual victory to "win" by 0.001%) then we can work to start to turn it around and restore the Old American Republic to health and vigor.
Yes, there is SO MUCH WORK to be done, even after a Kerry victory.
And God Help Us all if the Busheviks force us down the other path, which I think is more likely than not.
They have got to be CRAZY if they think that Free America is going out like the German Jews of the 1930s.
Of course, the distinct possibility, from the Emperor* on down, is that they ARE!
