Did anyone see Hagel on Lou Dobbs?? |
|
I'm surprised I haven't seen any discussion of his statement on DU. He was just on Lou Dobbs and was condemning the White House for never communicating with Congress. He said that according to the constitution, the Congress does not serve under the President but with the President. He also mentioned Senator Lugar, who, I believe, is joining in this choir of criticism.
Good stuff, coming from a Republican, no less.

1. Thanks I just missed it and wondered what he said. |

Could it finally be happening? The real conservative, true Republicans are seeing what the nescons are doing to their party? Wish they would all leave and even if they can't join us be Independent at least.

3. Considering that all the GOPers who have opposed Bush... |
|
...in ANY way are facing primary challenges with "mysterious financial backing", it's about damned time.

...and it's happened across the nation. Those who oppose Bush are steamrolled.

communicate with his own cabinet so why would he both communicating with Congress.
* just needs to talk to "the Father" who tells him to free the world. He is "above" the Constitution - He is only required to do as the Lord tells him to do in his own mind.
Don't we all feel safe now.

I really think some repugs are hoping for bush to lose the election. like hagel here.making claims about the draft...
he must know that many of the supporters will not vote for bush if this is imposed.....
maybe the real repugs see what a disaster bush has made of their party, and really are concerned about their own re election.which I wish every one would be voted out....
