CNN Breaking: Michael Jackson innocent until proven guilty. |
|
Indicted just means accused. Just because he's weird doesn't make him a child molester.

3. I'm all for letting people get a fair trial |
|
and we shouldn't judge MJ or alreaday believe he is guilty. However, my belief in him is fading.

4. Rule No. 1 for me - resist all media frenzies. |
|
Remember the McMartin school case. Remember Margaret Kelly Michaels. Also remember the mother of his main accuser has made false claims in the past.

9. yet you've bought into it |
|
surely the accusation that the accuser's mother has made false claims in the past is also an untested claim?
He may not be a molester - but would you let your child stay over at the house of a man who insists there is nothing wrong with an adult sharing his bed with a child?

I don't have an over-riding suspiscion that he's guilty - I'd just have an abundance of caution if he asked my kids for a sleep-over:evilgrin:

5. i have to say, given all mj's $$$, |
|
the charges against him are oddly tame. you would think that if anything serious was going on, there would be a very long line of goldseeking parents levelling all kind of sick charges.
that being said, i find the actual charges totally plausible and well worth stopping before it does become something far worse.

I've read interviews by people who know him and have worked with him over the years (and not the obvious suspects)...they seem to agree that Michael really is an overgrown baby incapable of such acts.
If there are legitimate charges, then so be it. But I've been suspicious of the suspicions since 1993 (even after reading the original accusations on thesmokinggun.com)
Innocent until proven guilty, not until proven odd.

'Cause that bastard is guilty as sin and needs to be impeached.

... he's a pedophile. Comparing this to the McMartin case is absurd, there is no mass indoctrination here, simply a man who prefers the company of a certain age and certain gender child 24/7. A man who paid millions of dollars to get another kid to shut up.
But, he'll get his day in court and he'll get the best defense money can buy.
And as for all the folks who say "oh, Michael would never be capable of that" - they remind me of the neighbor of a mass murderer after the fact saying "he was such a good quiet Christian man". Have heard it again and again. A lot of people still think Bush* is a good Christian man. Fools are everywhere.
Fooey :)
