Are they truly that dense? |
|
One morning I hear Tony Snow(job) say with as much contempt and disdain as his already annoying, strangulated, squeaky voice can muster: "Kerry spent his time in Vietnam in a BOAT!" The next morning I hear him playing CCR's "It ain't me" song with edited-in Kerry voice clips of him talking about Vietnam....AS THOUGH this was great mockery Snow had on his hands!! I mean, "I ain't no senator's son" and the rest of the lyrics, and Kerry voice-over about shrapnel and scariest night in Vietnam, etc., and this dense Fox dork thinks he is lambasting Kerry!!! God damn, they are thick. I can't wait to hear him with the 20 kills story: I truly expect him to muster disdain and contempt for Kerry and spew, "Twenty kills... whooopeee!! If that is the criteria, Bush beats him by TENS of thousands. Let's face it, while Bush served honorably in Texas, Kerry was playing "soldier" on a BOAT for crying out loud." I mean they are beginning to say things like this. It is unbelievable. I have NO doubt were to Bush come in a room with Limbaugh, Snow, Hannity, etc, and drop his pants and say "Suck it now!" they would be clawing over each other with open mouths to get to it. I just don't even categorize this latest crap I am hearing as "spin"....I don't know what to categorize it as. It's truly demented and they no longer care how stupid they know they sound. That is not spin...that is a sickness.

2. The White House definately sent out the story today on Kerry |
|
and all the networks ran it. (I caught ABC, CBS, and CNN - I'm assuming NBC followed along as well.)
Even though I know what they are doing, it is still bizarre to me to see the networks all cover the same manufactured story in the same way nearly simulataneously. It freaks me out.

5. I saw something earlier this evening |
|
flipping channels - don't remember which one, maybe CNN - about John Kerry promising to release his military records and then not doing it promptly, like "President Bush" did. And I wondered if I'd really just heard that. It only took him what - about 5 years? - and he still can't even prove he showed up. I commented to my son that it's just ridiculous and amazing to me that so many people - including my own mother, which just embarrasses me to death - fall for this bullshit.

6. Right wingers hate America! |
|
I really mean that. They hate everything America should stand for: honesty, responsibility, fair play, truthh, justice -- the whole smear.
Freepers and well-connected media wingnuts have sold their loyalty for 30 pieces of silver. They are wrong and mean and hateful on every issue.
In fact, never in the history of our country has the Republican Party been on the RIGHT side of ANY issue. No Freeper or GOPper alive can point with pride to some program or benefit tghe GOP has brought to America's citizens. In the meantime, Democrats can name one popular program after another that they sponsored and saw to fruition. Ask any American what the best thing the government ever did for the little guy and your responder will inevitably name some Democrat accomplishment.
Unless, of course, you responder only appreciates things like hatred and bloodshed -- in which case the GOP is far ahead of us.

8. awesome...great point! |

Welcome to DU! I believe their hatred is beyond the pale...their hatred of inevitability, of time, of change, of progress, all the normal things that makes life what it is, is what they loathe. They do hate America. But more importantly, it should be recognized they hate life. They hate the march of time - life, change, the inevitable. They fight it with fear and hatred. They really are pathetic little puppies. They want to believe in their eternal existence cause they are scared little puppies. Life frightens the hell out of them. The more they talk of their delusions, the more comfort they feel. It may be sad, but I won't pity them when push comes to shove. Just cause they can't deal with life, I am not willing to accomodate their neuroses...I loathe their vision of America and will fight them.

with the release of the records that prove that Kerry was a multiple time decorated hero. Who is supporting the troops now? Assholes hawking what turned out to be lies?
