"It's difficult to stop people coming across the Rio Grande River ... whether they be people looking for work or people looking to do harm," Bush told journalists at a meeting of the American Society of Newspaper Editors.

Yes, let's piss off our Mexican neighbors even more! God, after 4 years (and 6 as governor of Texas), you'd think I'd be immune to the stupidity that comes out of this moron's mouth. But every day, he says something even more idiotic to shock/nauseate me worse.
And I won't even start on the grammatical errors in that sentence.

At birth he probably fell on the floor and hurt his head badly. Or the doctor slapped him to hard on the wrong place. His poor head...

Hey, he did say waters won't protect us no more...Like in the good ol' days when they didn't have no bridge on Rio Grande....(reminded me of a whole set of punch lines arom Airplave - Shatner was especially funny "never get over Rio Grande")

6. His utterly charmless and flawed syntax aside.... |

the real issue here is how can you even allow "people looking to do harm" to get in? Seems to me the 'war on terror' Bush is supposedly waging has a lot of holes in it. A lot of 'em.
