is what I told the Seattle Times last night when they called about this issue. I had written them a letter telling them how much I appreciated them putting the pic of the coffins in. They called me and asked me if I and Michael agreed that the coffins should be shown. I said hell yes, and show the dead soldiers, dead civilians, wounded civilians, and wounded soldiers. Bout time the US public saw the truth. wake their asses up.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that photo. And I believe her when she said she wanted the families to see the care that is taken with the loved ones remains. And for people to support her employer and the military in this is just wrong. To fire her and her husband??? The whole notion that the American people can not be privvy to seeing the return of our fallen military personnel is just another way to keep the truth from being told. Just more secrets and lies from the BFEE.
I hate this war and I hate what this war is doing to good people. As a military spouse I can assure you that I, for one, would never think seeing that photo meant anything other than that those who lost their lives for an illegal and unjust war were being well cared for on their final journey home. I think it is high praise, not something to be hidden away and scorned.
May all who have fallen rest in peace and may their families find peace somehow, someway.

4. It's a tactic right out of the Kremlin |

The vanquished Soviet Union tried to hide the casualties resulting from their invasion of Afghanistan from the people in pretty much the same way.

to think that people just don't realize that, that they STILL support the little fucker who's taken over the country and that they STILL believe that he cares anything at all about the troops.

THAT is the real insult. Anybody get fired for that?!?!
Hiding these flag-draped coffins does nothing to protect these families. Their loved one already is dead — thanks to Bush and his henchmen.
