Maybe that's a dumb question but I would think that after 9/11, it would be the safest place around. The NBC Nightly News hypothesized at great length about planes hitting the White House. Seriously! If planes can still hit the White House . . . are the foxes tending the chicken coop? I thought we were supposed to have the greatest military in the world. Granted, they were probably told to stand down on 9/11 but are they still being told that? All this talk of a catastrophic attack on Congress before November . . . WTF? :wtf:

Then pilots, maps were produced - it was kind of further along. So, they came with the flight 93 version. But first they had to apologize for the first one.
The same time AF 1 was also under attack - so what better way to deflect that danger than fly chimpy all over the place. That turned out to be a crank call too.
And for 3 days they kept the "they were after me" BS, while in NYC they were digging for the dead - without gloves, water, equipment - we were donating boxes of those - aspirin, clean sox, T-shirts....
You can imagine how that narcissistic news sounded here....

"Oh look honey, duck . . . those airplanes look like they're heading right for the White House." "I wonder if anyone called the Air Force, or the DOD, or NORAD, or Condi . . . or Unca Dick . . .?"

I don't know what to think. I'm am getting a littly leary of all the pre-election warnings though. Sumpin' stinks with that.
