10. Horseshit. And Ed Krotch is a fucking Bushevik!
Might as well ask NYC to be nice to Aryan Nations.

Let 'em have it NYC!

Let 'em have it REAL GOOD!

2. It's called the "Make Nice" campaign

I heard about it on WNYC. Everybody's supposed to be sweet and kind to the repugs because of all the moola they'll be bringing into the city.

4. How much revenue does a national political convention...
...actually generate for a host city? What about all of the additional security costs? I think NYC will be flipping the bill for that and what are the risks of demonstrations against Bush and his policies. That will get tons of national and international media coverage especially if Iraq gets even more tense. I wonder if Karl Rove is looking forward to the convention. I have not heard or seen anything about KR since he came out of his Georgetown house like some trailer trash landlord and ordered all those demonstrators off his lawn. I think he even pushed a cameraman or covered the lenses.:eyes:  :nopity:

3. Lets get 1000 Dems to sign up as volunteers for the convention......
....and then not show up, just like the Republicans who volunteered at the polls in Florida during the 2000 election!

11. Did that really happen, Pat? Gotta link?
Not that it would surprise me. These Bushevik Bastards are 50 times worse than Nixon's Watergate people, and 50 times UNAMERICAN.

14. Yeah it happened! Only it was in 2002.....
.....some 90 - 100 poll workers refused to report after volunteering and IIRC, they were all Republicans! I'm looking for a link with the actual number but here's a Google search for "election workers didn't show up". :)

6. F*ck Bloomberg
He's such an arrogant, whiny prick. If he'd take his head out of his ass for 5 minutes, he realize that an overwhelming majority of New Yorkers don't even want the puke convetion to take place here, let alone volunteer for this insult.

9. ParanoidPat and Ithican have a great idea here, folks!
About 1,000 or 2,000 people who formerly PLANNED to go to NY for the protest need to VOLUNTEER for the convention! That's, first of all, a GREAT way to get in! And second, it's a perfect opportunity to mess things up ROYALLY for the repukes!

Once it devolves into chaos, all those rich little repuke wives can take over and try to be nice little hostesses. What a WONDERFUL idea!

:bounce:

ORGANIZE NOW!! ORGANIZE NOW!!

:kick::kick:
