When are you going to fire Wolf Blitzer?

It seems you haven’t noticed that he’s no longer working for you, but instead working for the George W. Bush campaign.

I find this very odd, seeing as how he sits behind a desk and looks into a CNN camera and spews his campaign rhetoric into the world under the guise of CNN.

I am not alone in noticing this. He’s being just a TEENSY bit obvious. So I’m calling you on it.

It is despicable that “the most trusted name in news” is nothing more than a shill for this current corporate-hugging administration. Oh, but wait. You’re a corporation, too. Hmm, maybe that’s why.

What shocked me the most was yesterday morning when he ran a piece on this John O’Neil fellow, a man who never actually even served with John Kerry, a man who is part owner of a legal firm in Texas who represents major oil and gas interests who are friends of Bush’s, and you let Wolf Blitzer give him time to smear John Kerry without ever reporting this rather pertinent facts about this scumbag. THIS WAS NOT NEWS. You should REALLY be quite ashamed of yourselves for letting Wolf, or his producer, or YOURSELF, or whoever approved this Nazi-esque bit of propaganda, get this crap on the air.

You know, I once wanted to be a journalist. I’m really glad I didn’t go that route, because journalism is dead in this country. Dead and gone.

What’s especially sad about this is the fact that our Democracy, our nation’s very existence, DEPENDS upon a free press to strive to tell the TRUTH. I hope you remember that in Nazi Germany the propagandists are found just as guilty as all the other Nazi leaders. I hope you’re willing to risk their fate when the American people finally decide that they’ve had enough.

advice though: i know you guys are really angry and passionate (which is good) but try to stay away from the smart-assed, fiery rhetoric when emailing -- it lessens your cause and will more than likely be overlooked, whereas well thought out emails, voicing concern will get the most attention. trust me on this.
