What are Bush's Iraq results?
When does America start to focus on results again? That's a word Bush used to great effect in 2000. When are we going to discuss Bush's results? Let's see the Profit and Loss report from Bush's big adventure.

In Iraq we have now gotten over 700 Americans killed and have spent $160 billion over and above the defense budget. And the evidence seems to show that we went in for the wrong reason, are no safer, and now have a long term commitment to a quagmire that could explode in our faces at any time.

How can anyone evaluate what has happened and approve of it? In the State of the Union address a United States president said that a country against which he intended to wage war had a nuclear weapons program ... and the statement ends up being transparently false ... and you read the words he used and they were weasel words. And to top it off, no chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons of any kind are found afterwards.

America is the victim of presidential quackery on a grand scale. Bush is prescribing to a foolish, desperate people, some of whom will believe anything. These folks find it reassuring that we are spending ourselves into bankruptcy, spilling blood, and making enemies all over the world.

"Hey, at least Bush is doing something. At least Arabs are dying too. That's better than just us. So what if we killed some innocent men, women, and children. Maybe the terrorists (any Arab who fights us) will see that as their fault and stop terrorizing..." When does the lunacy end on this?
