Oh Great -Now W is a freakin' gator wrestler
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/us_vote_bush

NAPLES, United States (AFP) - President George W. Bush (news - web sites) landed in a tree-lined mangrove swamp as part of an election campaign tour to push his record as a protector of the environment.

In front of about 250 people, amid crocodile-infested swamps (cue image of the adventurer fighting off gators and swinging from ropes) on the western edge of the Florida Everglades, Bush said his administration was expanding the nation's wetlands and had moved to stop oil and gas drilling

"My administration is committed to conserving Florida's natural beauty," Bush said, speaking at the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, a 110,000-acre nature sanctuary on Florida's southwest coast.

1. "Crocodile-infested swamps on the western edge of the Florida Everglades?"
excuse me Mr. Bu$h, those are alligators.

There is a small population of crocodiles, in south Florida, mostly over on the east coast around the nuke plant.

9. They be Crocogators
What's a Crocogator?

Got the head of an alligator on one end, and the head of a crocodile on the other. Alas, no end for a pooper, so the Crocogator is -- like our AWOL appointee-in-chief* -- Totally Full of Shit.

16. In Florida we have American Alligators
or Alligator mississippiensis if you want to get technical.

An alligator is a member of the crocodilian species but it is not a crocodile.

10. I believe that like I believe the sky is pink!
After all, here's a picture of * and mom from yesterday! His feet never get wet nor even touch the real ground. Why should I believe he's actually in the swamp???

Edited on Fri Apr-23-04 04:45 PM by DoYouEverWonder
I bet they put up that little walkway just for W.

Edit: On further study of the pic, I bet that walkway will be under water when the next tide comes in.

I wonder how much of our tax money was spent building the darn thing so little Prince W didn't have to get his feet wet?

14. of course it is brand new
remember the story a month ago where they had to pour a whole new concrete walkway at some place so *'s feet wouldn't touch the ground - I'm surprised there is not a royal purple carpet laid down.

son of her's drone on and on with his unconvincing lies and rediculous "let me explain these complicated issues to all you commoners" attitude.

God, sometimes it doesn't get to me as much, but just seeing that slug on my screen is really getting under my skin today.

And they are endangered. It does not matter much if one is eating you, tho.
