Boston Radio Host Says Kill All Muslims; Islamic Civil Rights Group Calls for Host's Termination

WASHINGTON, April 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today called for the termination of a Boston-area radio talk show host who allegedly said, "Let's kill all Muslims."

CAIR made that demand after receiving a complaint from a concerned Muslim who heard WTKK-FM (www.969fmtalk.com) host Jay Severin's Thursday afternoon program. WTKK-FM General Manager Matt Mills told CAIR that in a discussion about how Severin claims Muslims want to take over America, even if it takes centuries, Severin said, "I've got an idea, let's kill all Muslims."

"I have spoken to Jay Severin and he knows we take this seriously and do not condone offensive remarks toward any religious groups and he will be apologizing on his show Monday afternoon," said Mills in an e-mail. "He did not intend to offend anyone." ....

You have to have heard Severins show to know just how evil.. and talanted.. he is. He's a true propagandist, a true cog in the right-wing establishment. Unlike Hannity and Savage, he comes from the highest levels of the national RNC and media hierarchy, and listening to him you realize just what a spoiled elitist prick he is. I liken him to what John Rocker would be if he was a prep school/eastern establishment douch-nozzle(Rocker is just a redneck douche-nozzle).

Recently while I was back up in Massachusetts( I only live there during the summer,) I heard Severins reaction to the Howard Stern dropping of off the CC stations. He blamed in on "the liberals". Just think about how he get's away with that ultra spin to comprehend what a weaslely stormtrooper he is.

It will be interesting how this turns out.

6. I left Boston

..just as the Big Dig was starting. Boston seems to have changed drastically, and not for the better, since I left. Right wing scum like that would have faced so many negative phone calls and letters while I was there that he'd have been on the unemployment line the next day.

I knew the city was getting Yuppiefied and gentrified to death when I left, which is one reason I did. I didn't realize how Lamebawlized those yuppies had made it.

At the time I was light on Severin.

Blocking up the Air Ways

I find myself listening to a lot of talk radio. I feel better just saying that out loud. Here is my listening routine and reviews:
Howard Stern (104.1FM)– Smart, funny, edgy, daring, provocative, and honest. Say what you want about the self proclaimed “king of all media”, his show covers a wide variety of social and economical issues from a common man perspective mixed in with lesbians, strippers, sick games, and fart sound effects. Howard is surprisingly conservative on many issues and is never afraid to say what thinks about an issue and will even admit when he is wrong.
Don Imus (96.9FM)- Cranky, confused, irritable, and smug. I tried to listen to Imus, but who wants to start their morning feeling bad for a washed up has-been?

After Howard is over I switch over to hear the rest of:

Mike Barnicle (96.9FM) – With CO-host Dan Shaughnessy, Barnicle provides a fresh honest look at the worlds events. They are knowledgeable and bright but never take themselves too seriously. The show does have a ”fly by the seat of your pants” feel to it and could use a touch more structure. All in all, very much worth listening to.

I usually keep it there and listen to:

Eagan & Braude (96.9FM) – This is the best talk radio show in Boston. Margery Eagan is the Conservative and Jim Braude is the Liberal. Actually the are both level headed, well spoken, educated thinkers who can and will see both sides of an issue. Maybe this show is too moderate for the programmers at 96.9FM, as they only have a one hour time slot.

Also on the air at this time is:

Rush Limbaugh (680AM) – This is the most important voice on the radio. Ladies and Gentleman, he will tell you what the issues are and what to think of them. I really only listen to Rush when I want to hear him read another statement from his lawyer. He used to drive me crazy with his rhetoric. I now know that he was just high. MEGA-DITTOS!

Next comes:

Bill O'Reilly (96.9FM) - This is the most important voice on the radio. If there is an issue out there, it is somehow covered in his book “Who’s Looking Out for You”. Somehow covered, see. Conservatives are looking out for you. Looking out for you, see. As covered in his book - “Who’s Looking Out for You”, Liberals hate America. Hate America, see. You Libs like Stuart Smally may try to call up and try to spin, but he will shut you down if you don’t have the proof. Gotta have proof. Al Gore didn’t go on his Fox show during the 2000 campaign and that is why he lost the election. Gore would have won had he been on the “No Spin Zone”. Would have won, see. Look it up, it’s in his book -“Who’s Looking Out for You”.

After two hours of that, comes:

Jay Severin (96.9FM) – The pride 96.9. Jay describes himself as an Independent with “libertarian/libertine” beliefs. Jay has been right on the money with criticism about the War in Iraq, Bush’s health care plan, campaign finance reform limiting freedom of speech, Bush’s immigration plan, the outing of a CIA agent, Bush’s National Guard service, etc.… But then Jay goes on to say that George W must be re-elected. He is what I call FoxNews Independent (I know he does not work for Fox).
A FoxNews Independent is someone who is:
Not registered with either party anymore.
Has never and will never vote for a Democrat.
Claims that they are part of 15% of Americans who vote for candidates and not a party (only the evil liberals do that).
Jay sings the “Democrats are evil” mantra. He does come down hard on the current administration but always follows it up with how much worse it would be if it were a Democrat President and/or Congress. He is fearful of Hillary Clinton, looks up to Donald Rumsfield, loves the blues, and never misses an opportunity to hit on the ladies (which would be very creepy if he wasn’t a on air radio personality).
Jay is a very talented, thought provoking, intellectual, charismatic, butt boy for the Republican party.

The other option for this time slot is:

Howie Carr (680AM) – This guy is proof that you do not need to have talent or intellect to host a drive time AM talk radio show.

If you are still listening to the radio at 7:00 PM:

Laura Ingraham (96.9FM) - This is the most important voice on the radio. Actually, her face is perfect for radio and her voice was meant for silent films. I once found myself trying to puncture my ear drums with a #2 lead pencil after listening to Laura for 10 minutes. Her book is titled “Shut Up and Sing”. It is based on her belief that only conservative celebrities have the right to use their fame to promote their beliefs. In response, I am planning to write my book – “Shut Up and Shut Up”.

And finally:
Sean Hannity (96.9FM) – I’ve only heard his show a few times…But you could call him “Rush light”. The first time I heard the show I thought someone was doing an over the top Rush Limbaugh impersonation. On a side note: Sean often has Oliver North as a guest on his show. These two men are so much in love I would not be surprised at all if they apply for a marriage license here in Massachusetts.
