3. Let's be honest

There always seems to be smoke billowing out of the "Green Zone" these days. I have to guess that it must be someone's full time job just explaining what each smoke source is.

Let's hope no one has been hurt.

4. Texans always

barbecue on Saturdays. And even if Bremer is not a Texan, he has to pretend like he is one, sort of like * does, come to think of it.

Texans will eventually be regarded (and I say this with sadness as I am a native Texan) as the early 21st century equivalent of Germans during the 1930s and '40s.

I would characterize Texas' "gift to the world" as a sort of reverse Nazism, as every policy is distilled through the "Christian Zionism" sermons of the state's dominant Southern Baptist preachers who hold forth to an audience of several million Texans each Sunday.
