The Bush is Toast Equation
Edited on Sat Apr-24-04 12:19 PM by TruthIsAll
It will be a near landslide as all the Bush scandals come home to roost in the public consciousness.

Remember, Gore won the last time. But lets look at who is voting more heavily for Kerry this time. And why. I'm sure I missed a few others.

Here is the TIA Math Lesson of the Day:

BUSH IS TOAST =
Gore Voters +Energized Dems + Nader voters (assume he gets less than 1%) + Defecting Repubs + Muslims + More Hispanics + Military + VFW + Single women + 9/11 + Iraq fiasco + No WMD + $150B Medicare scandal + $700M Iraq contra scandal + Treasonous WH Plame outing + JOBLESS + Massive deficit + Unified Dems + Kerry vs. Bush AWOL + Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" film + Woodward + Wilson + Clarke + overtime pay cuts + casualties in Iraq + Bring 'em on + Mission accomplished + Diebold Touchscreen prosecution + Kerry fundraising juggernaut + "The Day After Tommorrow" (new Global Warming flick) + Lies + Lies + Lies

THAT IS WHY:

1. We can only hope he... However, everybody thinks the system is fair...
it isn't. With 2000 and later, everything's been a con job with smoke and mirrors and other vile things.

So, if you think we're going to win, explain the following:

So, whose plane is going to go down in October? It's a tried and true method to keep bushko* in power.

It worked in 2002, it'll work again.

We were sure we'd win in 2002. Oops.

We expected * to get some flak in 2001. Oops.

We were sure we'd win in 2000. Oops.

Now we're sure we'll win in 2004. Sigh... If it's another 'oops', then this time we have no excuses left. We've seen everything they've done. We need to be prepared for their chicanery and not play into it.

Our eyes are wide open this timed.
They will reallly have to steal it for them to win.
I would not put anything pass them.

5. True. Only Diebold and no exit polling can beat us.
Any October Surprise would be so transparent. It is already predicted. It would not help Bush. Just another LIE. Just another SCAM.

The people are getting smarter every day. Its only April. We are leading.

Kerry is raising grass roots megabucks at a record clip; Bush has already spent $50 million of the big contributers and it hasn't really helped him. Rove is tearing his hair out.

By November it will be a rout.

6. Blue Eyed Son: give me a teeny hint...

I Promise I will never tell.

BTW I am an old Brooklyn Dodger fan. Duke was my hero.
When they moved west, I became a Giant fan. Willie was the one. I saw his 1954 Vic Wertz World Series catch.

TIA

4. No, he isn't toast
It is SOOO dangerous to actually convince ourselves that "bush is toast". Winning this election is one of the most difficult things we will EVER do. Complacency will DESTROY us. The Republicans have control of the mainstream media, making it very difficult to get our message out and given serious attention. And if THAT doesn't work, they have complete control of the portion of the electorate that will vote electronically. Thet stole the 2000 election, what makes you think they won't steal this one, especially when doing so will be so much easier for them this time?

7. Keep hammering that home! COMPLACENCY!!!!!
Over-confidence makes a looser EVERY TIME! Any sports fan will tell you that. Some may disagree with me in comparing politics to sports, but the over-confidence analagy applies.

We can't even relax after the election. Remember what they did to Clinton for eight years!

8. I NEVER said we should STOP fighting.
Edited on Sat Apr-24-04 12:48 PM by TruthIsAll
WE ARE fighting when we SHOUT the TRUTH about rigged polling by Bush Mediawhores like CNN and ABC and IBD.

If anything, we should expect Kerry's lead to grow. If it doesn't, it is proof of 1) rigging and or 2) poor campaigning.

Its UP to Kerry to bash Bush. We do our job at DU.

10. I still say
Edited on Sat Apr-24-04 01:24 PM by bushwentawol
that Nader ends up taking away more votes from repugs this time around than from Dems. Anyone even remotely within the Democratic camp knows how important this election is. Contrast that with Goldwater/Rockefeller Republicans who can't quite bring themselves to vote Democratic, but who still want to vote. Ralph gives them that choice. Vote for Nader, then straight ticket repug after the presidential race.
Plus then when Kerry wins it gives the rw spin machine ammunition to say he didn't have a mandate. "He wouldn't have won without Nader being in there." That is if the margin of victory is under 10%.

The above forementioned is all predicated on the fact that chimpy and Tommy Franks will not cancel elections due to another "attack."
