Leaving aside all other issues with Whorequist -- especially that any interviewer should warn their audience that Whorequist's overriding goal is to "Starve the Beast", that is, decimate funding of government and eliminate the social programs implemented over the last 100 years -- I found Whorequist's parsing of "immigrant" and "foreigner" on tonight's Laura Flanders Show most telling.

Whorequist, on Lou Dobbs: "Lou Dobbs spends most of his time bashing immigrants."

Whorequist, on David Kay Johnson's list of "conservative" economic scholars advocating that tax systems should be based on "the ability to pay": "You listed a bunch of conservatives that you... that you know... they're a bunch of foreigners, frankly. (giggles)" ... and later ... "You can't quote a bunch of Europeans and tell us that's what Americans think."

"Immigrants" are good, 'cause they might be able to vote; foreigners are bad, no reason needed.
