In New Hampshire Kerry went door to door to get votes |
|
Even Dean just stood next to a booth all day.
When I saw Kerry going door to door in New Hampshire, I correctly guess that he wanted it the most.
Can you imagine Shrub going door to door?

2. he also ALWAYS asked people to vote for him |
|
in iowa he didn't have big crowds at first, but he would still stick around for those who came for him and answer whatever questions they had. and i guess by word of mouth or whatever it was, he started getting bigger crowds. he had a bigger crowd than dean did at an event with al gore and tom harkin soon after harkin's endorsement which was held around the same time in iowa.
remember the day of the iowa caucuses , kerry had lost his voice. he had a cold around the time of the final week also, but he was still out there doing all he could.

3. That's good. Personal contact with a candidate can make a difference. |

I know when I met Clinton, it was a completely different experience than seeing him on TV. TV, by its nature, makes a person small. I would imagine that seeing Kerry face-to-face (or face-to-chest, considering his height) would have a very real impact on voters.
