6. one of them brings up the Promise Keepers march |
|
Now this is a large crowd. (photo cut) This is the Promise Keepers March from October 1997 that CNN said was about 100,000 men. CNN is now saying that today's march in Washington is a million strong. The largest in history. Nah, there's no bias in media.
First, has anyone seen CNN claim today's march is a million strong? Everyone at DU is complaining that CNN says "tens of thousands."
And, here's the kicker: If the Promise Keepers cult had a march today, you'd get about 100 nuts to show up. Today's march is about *real issues* and the *real attacks* women face from their government; not some mumbo-jumbo feel-good day for evangelical Christian men. Maybe that's why it's (supposedly) getting better coverage.

8. what is funny about that is our pic is better |
|
and the pic from the "Man's March" scared the chit out on one of them hehehehhehhe
To: SuzanneC Sweet Lord, I thought that was a pic from today! You scared the crap out of me!
Anyone notice how this "march" went from "March for Abortion Rights" to "March for Choice", to "March for Women's Lives"? Why? Because PPF and NARAL are becoming increasingly aware of America's growing opposition to abortion on demand. Because they had to include "health issues" as one of the reasons to march. Because abortion "rights" wasn't enough. That's why NARAL changed its name to "Pro-Choice America"- people are finally waking up to what is going on, and they don't even want to say "abortion" any more.

7. Just like anything else |

they would rather deny what is happening, stick their fingers in their ears and go "LALLALALALALLALA!"
Fact is, they really don't care what anyone else thinks or what popular opinion is. They are so convinced they are right. Never, ever ask a freeper to think in shades of gray rather than their prefered black and white. Their heads explode when you do. They even invented a convenient term for thinking in black and white. They call it the evil of "moral relativism". They use it to attack anything that isn't black and white from science to politics.
They also know they can never match the numbers the left turns out for rallies. They lament that fact and don't understand why.
