Is Fallujah starving?
As the seige of Fallujah goes on, I find myself thinking of the people inside more and more. It's a sure bet they're not getting supplies and the Iraqi people weren't well off to begin with--they probably didn't have much in the way of food stockpiles.

2. Yep
Heard that today that food was running out. I think that is why they have delayed the assault.

6. Yup....but...
we're "at war" but we're not "at war".
We're "at war" with something referred to as "terrorism" but we
ended up invading two sovereign nations. BTW, that's not "war", it
was a "mission".

5. You can read Riverbend's comments and reports about Fallujah here ->
Baghdad Burning

She talks of the refugees who left the city (I think the population is around 300,000 in "normal" times) and are staying in Baghdad, some in River's neighborhood.

Riverbend has links to Al-Jazeera, BBC and other news sources you could check for updated (non-US) info on Fallujah.
