I don't get it. My local paper is supposed to be writing about schools and city councils, and instead they publish this right-wing crap. Is this legal?

Can you imagine what the press would say if a survey found that since the 2000 election, the number of Americans who think President Bush is "highly professional" dropped from 72 percent to 49 percent?
And what if the number of Americans who think the president "gets his facts straight" dropped from 55 percent to 35 percent?
And what if the number of Americans who think the president "tries to cover up his mistakes" rose from 13 percent to 67 percent?
Can't you just imagine the goading questions at the next press conference?
"Mr. President, do you take personal responsibility for this slide in your professionalism rating?"
"Mr. President, will you apologize for your failure to get the facts straight?"
"Mr. President, what's the biggest mistake that you've tried to cover up?"
"Come on, Mr. President. Fess up. Tell us. You're really just a miserable failure, aren't you?"
"Hunh? Hunh? Hunh?"
Well, none of the figures at the top is true about what the American people think about Bush.
They all are true about what the American people think about … journalists.
