Seems there is now a "PARTY A" and a "PARTY B" and the Justice of the Peace class says the JP is to say "I now pronounce you married"

Meanwhile the GOP Gov - Mitt Romney - is putting new language into the clerk's instructions on issuing a marriage permit that demands proof of residence.

Funny how they are saying how easy that is taken care of in Mass - indeed a Hotel Bill should do it - and indeed one should need nearly nothing, since you are a resident in Mass upon entering the State and declaring that you are a resident. However I suspect some right wing Judges will "allow" some "reasonable" demands for "proof" - it will be interesting to see what the court requires/becomes the standard procedure for a short term residency in the state.
