Analysis of female donors to Bush/Cheney
The figures, based on itemized contributions of more than $200 in campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission, are evidence of a historical trend: Women without an income-earning occupation tend to send most of their contributions to Republicans, while women with incomes separate from their spouses tend to give most of their money to Democrats.

2. That's pretty profound...

...To me it means that women who are dependent on their husbands accept the more traditional roles the Repug Party stands for. Surely there will be fewer and fewer of these women as time goes on???

5. That was my interpretation as well
looking at the fundrace.org site posted here a month or so back. You would see a guy with a $ 2k donation followed by a $ 2k from the wife.
