Freepers in the Mist
Check out this knucklehead - he lives in his own little tidy RW dream-world. What would it take for this dumbass to wake the fuck up?

Notice he got interested in politics because his hedge clippers cost 5$ more - selfishness is the root of all repugs.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A41964-2004Apr25.html

"Some people get their information from the TV networks or the paper. Stein starts with the Drudge Report Web site, where he scans the headlines and clicks on one that says, "Rallying Cry For Dems: Vote Bush Out of Rove's Office." "This is the kind of stuff that pisses me off," he says. "They don't give Bush the respect he deserves. Not only because he's president, but because he's a helluva good man."

Next he goes to a Web site called WorldNetDaily.com. He clicks on an article that says, "Poll: Bush's Approval Sinking," but dismisses it as untrustworthy when he sees the poll was done by CBS. "Of course I have a suspicion of CBS," he says. "Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw -- they don't have any credibility with me."

Next he goes through a site called FreeRepublic.com, which calls itself "the premier conservative news forum," and then moves on to a site called sftt.org. "Soldiers for the Truth," he says, scrolling through another list of articles and watching a video of what the site says is a U.S. Apache helicopter targeting and obliterating three Iraqis. "Another guy moving right there," one voice on the video says, all business. "Good. Fire. Hit him," another voice says."

1. You have to register to use the link.
Feh on that.

Sounds like a totally freeper. Claiming that they represent "mainstream America" while they spew totally disproportionate bile, and LIVE AND BREATHE right-wing rhetoric.

Yeah. Real mainstream.

2. Heard a Bush supporter on C-Span yesterday
She all but came out and said it didn't matter what * did, she's still vote for him. These people don't care that he has lied. They don't care that he's incompetent. They don't care that he is leading us to WWIII. They flat don't care. We don't even need to TRY to reach these people. What Kerry needs to do is show normal people how extreme * is. I was watching a replay of Kerry addressing a group (can't remember who) yesterday on C-Span. He did come flat out and say that * is NOT a conservative - he's an extremist! WTG JK!

3. Dearlord...
"Another guy moving right there," one voice on the video says, all business. "Good. Fire. Hit him," another voice says."

That "all business" video sounds very much like the video taken of US troops in the midst of committing a war crime ... not just shooting but obliterating an Iraqi who did not appear to be armed at the time he was killed.

And Stein says, "I'm so proud of them. I'm so glad they're on our side."

I certainly do not believe the vast majority of our soldiers have intentionally committed such heinous acts, but the ones in that video did something reprehensible. And this guy is proud of them.

This country isn't going to hell. It's gone to hell.

that their(people like this guy) brains function somewhat like that of a serial killer. They enjoy watching people die.

5. here is some more from the article - its a long one
"Next he goes to AmericanRhetoric.com, where he has listened to an "awesome" speech by Bush, an "amazing" speech by Reagan, and a "great" speech by Martin Luther King Jr. from a time before "things got so distorted," and then he goes to townhall.com, which calls itself a "conservative news and information" site, where he begins hopscotching from Pat Buchanan to Robert D. Novak to Ann Coulter.

This is how Stein gets his information, along with watching Fox News and skimming the local paper, to which he once canceled his subscription because he was so offended by an opinion column about Bush that began, "The Boy Emperor picked up the morning paper and, stunned, dropped his Juicy Juice box with the little straw attached." He recognizes that the information he seeks out reinforces his beliefs rather than challenges them, but "I feel I'm more informed than most people," he says. "Most people don't read all of this."

The article goes on to talk about how EVERYONE, including our Freepers hero, goes to church in Sugar Land. He thinks it is his duty, and they sit on the front row every Sunday - all the way to the right. The article finishes with our boy at Hooters with his Freeper friends (just over the county line). . .

7. "The article finishes with our boy at Hooters..."
"...with his Freeper friends (just over the county line). . ."

Ahhhhh, the sweet, sweet dichotomy of the typical RWer.

"I hate all these sinful queers!" (Ends up with a hooker in a hotel room.)

"Bomb 'em back to the stone age!" (Has never served in the armed forces.)

"Take away welfare and food stamps!" (Admires businesses that benefit from corporate welfare.)

"Screw all them Hollywood liberals!" (Is very, very unattractive.)

etc. etc.
