Glazer buys more Man Utd shares
US sports tycoon Malcolm Glazer has bought a further 4.1 million Manchester United shares, increasing his shareholding from 16.69% to 18.25%. The 75-year-old has been steadily increasing his share over the last few months, but on 30 March he denied that he was preparing a takeover approach.
However this latest share purchase will renew speculation that he is preparing a bid for the club.
Mr Glazer owns successful Tampa Bay Buccaneers American football team.
As an Englishman I know nothing about Tampa Bay or Glazier. As a United fan I have a vested interest. Anyone care to shed some light?

Bought the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1995. Prior to Glazer's purchase, the franchise was the laughing stock of the National Football League. Glazer turned them into champions.

That sounds better than it could be. General paranoia surrounds any sports take over bid here in case business types start to "tamper".
Did he know anything about the NFL before he started? Does he get involved? Suits and boots just don't mix well in my book.

after saying he would never do such a thing, soon after buying the team he threatened threaten to move them if the city didn't build him a new stadium. so, the city raised a taxed for a stadium everybody pays for and few will ever see the inside of.
socializing the cost, privitizing the profits.
