IMO....Woodward helped the white house do it's dirty work....they want

Powell out...and this book helps. I believe they would not fire him..too racially hot in an election year...and he won't quit...for whatever reason....now he is publically discredited...over and over again in the book and daily editorials.

Woodward was used to embarrass Powell for the cowards in office. The plan worked!

LYING, LIES, LIAR!!! Powell has been discredited. This is a major accomplishment. One that we could not have accomplished on our own. A lot of people have stuck with bush because they trusted Powell. Now, if you can't trust ol' Colin, who can you trust in this misadministration.

4. The crazy thing is he's probably the most honest of all of them

and we need him to measure the lies.

However, he's going to be the only one to take a fall? He's the one we'll all blame?

It's better to have him around because at least you can get a sense of which way the wind blows with him. Without him, it'll be easier for the rest of them to lie.

I guess they'll all be gone soon enough, so it doesn't really matter.

But making him the fall guy probably covers up more shit than it reveals.
