Terrorist caught preparing to kill 1500 at Democratic National Convention
Did anyone post this yet? Unfuckin' real...

Rockford man accused of plotting deaths of government officials

April 22, 2004

BY NATASHA KORECKI Staff Reporter

A Rockford man who allegedly kept a hit list of government and public figures and said he planned to blow up squad cars was arrested Wednesday, after federal agents found a huge cache of explosives in his home and car.

Michael J. Breit, 20, of 3012 Sunnyside Dr., allegedly told federal agents he planned to use the pipe bombs as hand grenades to blow up the squad cars.

snip>

The search also turned up a list of federal officials, political and public figures with the word "marked," next to the names. Breit told agents it meant "marked to die," because the people were liberal, opposed to gun rights or opposed to the current government.

Police also found a note that reads: "I will die for my cause, for it is just. I won't put my hands up and surrender -- I will not rest till I purge these United States from the treasonist (sic) parasites."

McVeigh, "pro-life" killers, skinheads, etc., etc.

It's another major story the corporate media refuses to report. All we get is a few tidbits, like this story.

that's just one small reason why I know I'm on the right side, morally, legally, etc. Becasue the other side issues death threats.

I think at some point the media needs to held accountable for these sorts of people believing the have a cause and having no clue as to why anyone would be against this war.

46. Yep - Ignorance is a threat
I was talking to my students today about the G-8 Summit (we started a unit on the summit today). I was telling them it should be interesting since most of the other nations involved in the summit aren't happy with us. The kids all wanted to know why. I said, "well, because we attacked Iraq." They all started screaming out, "well, Iraq attacked us first!" I explained that NO Iraq did not attack us first. One kid in my class got really angry and started telling me that I was lying. His mom told him that Iraq attacked the US on 9/11. I explained very calmly that the terrorist attacks of 9/11 were done by mostly Saudi nationals and we believe that Al Qaeda was responsible. This one kid just kept saying I was lying. It was unbelievable. He then started screaming about Clinton. This kid's mom is a major religious fanatic and thinks Bush is God. It's disgusting. Another kid in my class said, "well, if I could vote I'd vote for Kerry." When he said this, that other kid went ballistic! This should be a VERY interesting unit.

<annoyed sarcasm>

This is the kind of hatred that Bush's jingoistic and nationalistic rhetoric is breeding.

People like Coulter, Limbaugh, and Hannity only encourage dangerous psychopaths like this guy.

But I have to admidt: deep down I am suprised that they actually nabbed the guy, and didn't let him carry out the attacks.

47. Says in news story he had marked 1500 to die at Democratic
Presidential Caucus - not convention (guess it means IL Democratic caucus - which is the state's version of the convention)

"Authorities also seized several of Breit's handwritten notes and drawings, which included a list of current and former federal officials and public figures that he "marked to die" because of political or anti-gun beliefs, drawings of weapons, an armed attack on a limousine and an essay titled "Revolutionary Strike Force," which outlines a plan to kill 1,500 people at a Democratic presidential caucus."

14. al qaeda is right wing also
osama bin laden reminds me of bush in a lot of ways. talks a lot about dying for this cause and god and shit, but wont fight himself. they try to act like they are just one of the regular guys but both grew up in rich families and used that money to get away with doing horrible things. both think god is on their side and sent them on a mission. both oppose separation of church and state.

both wanted to attack iraq also. remember, bin laden hated saddam and it was not because saddam was a brutal dictator, but because under saddam iraq was a secular state and it was a pretty socialist country.

plain and simple.
When the fascists took over Germany, their main targets (originally)
were socialists and communists...the "main enemies" of Germany.
This was later "expanded" to include Jews and other "undesirables".

I'm not surprised that this is happening and I expect it to get
worse.
Actually, IF Kerry wins the elections, I expect the reich-wingers
to come out swinging more than I do liberals if shrub were to

50. Article mention 1500 targets at Democratic Caucus
"A writing entitled "revolutionary strike force", which outlines a plan to kill 1,500 people at a presidential caucus, was found. Also found was a recipe for dynamite and a writing full of threats against society, a list of current and former federal officials and other public leaders and political figures." (WIFR)

"Authorities also seized several of Breit's handwritten notes and drawings, which included a list of current and former federal officials and public figures that he "marked to die" because of political or anti-gun beliefs, drawings of weapons, an armed attack on a limousine and an essay titled "Revolutionary Strike Force," which outlines a plan to kill 1,500 people at a Democratic presidential caucus." (Rockford Register)
