My stepsons are registering to vote for the first time |
|
They are both as apolitical as anyone I've ever seen, they're 25 and 21, and scared. Their friends are scared also, and they're registering to vote, like the boys for the very first time. I've never pushed my beliefs on them, but, I guess they've absorbed some of them. We had a good talk about what the moron* is doing to the country, and the very real possibility of a draft coming next year. They aren't the only ones, my youngest brother is also registering and voting, again for the very first time. You don't know how heartning this is, sometimes I feel pretty isolated here, but, after hearing this I feel much better. Here's to hearing good news in the heartland. :bounce:
