Kerry will win by such a huge majority that it will force the media to...
...redefine the word "landslide."

After reading about the numbers of people who turned out for the abortion rights march this past weekend and speculating about how many more people would have marched if they could, I can't help but have a good feeling.

Am I in fantasyland or could the march turnout presage a crushing defeat for the bushistas?

2. If that happens it will force the media to attack Kerry even more
Look what the media did to Clinton - fake scandal after fake scandal - it was never ending.

What have they done for Bush? Defend every lie, every criminal act, every fuck up.

The media will never let up on Democrats until we get our own version of Fox news and start getting our own message out there like the Republicans do with CNN, MSNBC, Fox, etc.

6. Yes. Someone here agrees with me. We don't need an......
"objective news channel"!!! We need a Liberal Fox, we need a Liberal Newscorp.

I stand with you Democat against all of those on this board who want
"objective journalism" as opposed to getting our views out.

I want a Liberal Fox NOW! I want to have a symbolic conservative on the network for us to bash everynight.

Democrats have to learn that we are not looking for "objective news" but we are looking to promote our views and policies.

3. I have been thinking
the same thing....now if they just count the votes I think we'll be ok because you know if there were a million+ mostly women on the mall than Bush is in trouble....we women don't like to be messed with - and we work hard!!!

4. I take it as a good sign
I still think that there is a large segment of voters that will not vote Bush but are not necessarily outspoken about it at this point in time. The number of pro-choice supporters outnumbered the pro-life demonstrators ten-fold.
then again, I thought Gore was President x(

9. I Think it Will be a 5-10% Win for Kerry in the Popular Vote
but if Nader's campaign goes well, it could be a lot closer.

That depends on his running a good campaign. I'm willing to give Kerry the benefit of the doubt -- he has a more successful track record than anyone here -- but he's got to find a way to neutralize the attacks without becoming an attack dog himself.

12. Not with electronic voting. The public will never know Kerry won.
We need to get our party to fight realistically.

15. Kerry will get more votes, but the results will not reflect it . . .
remember who owns the voting machines . . . it's not who votes that counts . . . it's who counts the votes . . .

16. I agree, Mary Pat! Chimpy, the worst prez in history to lose biggest
Landslide! Mr. Disaster War Chimp doesn't do anything terribly by halves! Not only is he the worst statesman, he is also easily the worst campaigner - makes Dan Quayle seem articulate!

17. I see Bush swamped in a landslide of opposition
With Kerry swinging hard and landing every punch. To claim that the media is biased, as some have, and then give credence to these polls is mindless. I see Kerry far ahead on the issues and Bush and Co. reeling. And, I watch as close as anyone.

20. The problem is that that the media
calls Kerry on every single (no matter how trivial) issue they can dig up-even if it's 30+ years old. Meanwhile, Bush continues to get away with murder (literally). Why aren't they digging up his questionable (and no doubt illegal) stock trades? Or his string of failed businesses or even his DUI? There are tons of things that Bush & Co. need to be called upon the carpet for by the Media--both past and current--yet I don't see any of that happening. Instead any messenger is attacked and torn apart by Bush's trained pack of jackals. This depresses me more than I can possibly say and makes me doubt Kerry's chances of being elected in November. After all, Gore was elected US President too and I think we all know how that one turned out.
