If you haven't seen this you MUST check it out! It was originally reported in the New York Times! I am beyond shellshocked! These people are not only irrational and quite scary - they are actually certifiably INSANE!!!!! Just when think you've seen it all from these idiots, check out the new Karen Hughes quote!

4. i say loudly back to karen, ....I did NOT need 9/11
to value lives. i valued lives long before 9/11 and it is sad to see that it took 3000 lost lives for them to value life. though i have to disagree that this was a turning point for the administration concidering the leaving children behind, the war adn loss of innocent lives

5. Yo, Karen, I'm pretty sure that al-Qaida is anti-choice, too
"...the fundamental issue between us and the terror network we fight is that we value every life."

Since al-Qaida is composed of ultra-fundamentalist Muslims, it stands to reason that they, like the repuke party, are opposed to a woman's right to choose. Hell, their ideological kin the Taliban wouldn't let girls go to school -- but that didn't stop the repuke congress from giving them millions to "fight the drug war" just months before 9/11!

7. This proves how very desperate they are...
they know they are losing and are desperately trying to tie everything to 9/11, it's all they have and, the reality is, they don't even have that.

8. I read that quote earlier 2day.
What astounds me is they rhetorically 'value' life but in reality send our sons and daughters off to die for the lies that line their pockets. That a few thousand Iraqis are murdered as a direct result of their lies & natural resources plundering, is immaterial.

A complete waste of space.

9. That means Bush APPOINTED a TERRORIST to the CABINET!
Yes, Tom Ridge is pro choice, which makes him not only the first secretary of homeland security, but a TERRORIST as well!

10. Yo Karen, tell that shit to the people in Iraq! The war president
values life, so long as the life in question hasn't been BORN yet!

Let's look at Shrub's record on life:

While governor executed 152 inmates

Since President 718+ US troops have died in Iraq fighting his war, anyone have the number of Iraqi dead?

Since President over 100 US troops killed in Afghanistan (can't find a source to pin down actual numbers)

As President, 3000+ Americans killed in terrorist attacks on 9/11, despite warnings to the administration

I'm so glad * honors life! Hate to see the numbers if he didn't.

11. Well then I wish Karen Hughes would explain this one to me then
Okay, let me get this straight. It took a terrorist attack to make americans value life? and americans need to stop having all those abortions and adopting (which may not be such a bad thing, but that's besides the point that I could argue later) and Bush & Co put forth policies that help us value life?!?!?!?!?!?!??! Explain to me Karen Hughes what kind of freaks we were before Bushco came into power.

My mother works with a lady that is SELLING A CHILD SHE IS CARRYING RIGHT NOW for $30,000USD for a couple out in california. I don't want anyone to think I am being a homophobe here or trying to incite an argument or offend anyone but they are a homosexual couple. The thing that bothers me is that the woman carrying the baby after she has went through the pain of labor, she gets handed a check for 30g's and is NEVER ALLOWED TO SEE THE CHILD AGAIN. I don't have anything against those 2 guys and I hope they are happy having to be able to raise a child, but to never be allowed to see your real mother growing up.......in my opinion is tragic. The whole situation to me is tragic that humans are still bieng bought and sold, in the good ol' U.S. of A. People are right, slavery in a way is still going on today, those who deal in the buying and selling of human beings just has better ways of covering it up.

Now tell me Karen Hughes if you still thing people value life after a terrorist attack. I want to know. How is it that this country better since bushco took over. To me, it's just the same old GOP shit, just crazier this time around.
