Here it is, you asked for it,
the "unofficial" DU Priceless parody thread. I'll start things off:

"The eastern world it tis explodin',
violence flarin', bullets loadin',
you're old enough to kill but not for votin',
you don't believe in war, what's that gun you're totin',
and even the Jordan river has bodies floatin',
but you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction."

1. kay
The prez on his ranch is chillin'
coalition fading, less than willin'
If you think that's winning then you're illin'
You say you're fighting Qaeda, but it's kids you're killin'
And more American blood is spillin'
but you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction."

3. To the tune of "If You're Happy and You Know It, Clap Your Hands"
If you cannot find Osama, bomb Iraq,
If the markets hurt your mama, bomb Iraq,
If the terrorists are Saudi,
And the bank takes back your Audi,
And the TV shows are bawdy - bomb Iraq.

If the corporate scandal's growing, bomb Iraq,
And your ties to them are showing, bomb Iraq,
If the smoking gun ain't smokin',
We don't care and we're not jokin',
Ol' Saddam will soon be croakin' - bomb Iraq.

Even though we have no allies, bomb Iraq,
From the sand dunes to the valleys, bomb Iraq,
So to hell with the inspections,
Let's look tough for the elections,
Close your mind and take directions - bomb Iraq.

So here's one for good ol' daddy, bomb Iraq,
From his fav'rite little laddie, bomb Iraq,
Saying No would look like treason -
It's the Hoo-sain huntin' season!
Even though we've GOT NO REASON - bomb Iraq.

I didn't write this - it was around before the invasion. Like most of the antiwar stuff from that time, it holds up pretty well. Most of the prowar stuff from that time, not looking so good right now.

4. My first try
The ballot's gone, now where's the votin
Chads a danglin, bubbles broken
You're set to do a vote, cause some ass needs a'kickin
You don't believe in touch, so what's that screen a'blinkin
O'Dell is happy, his Diebold is out there vote killin
but you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction

7. "Eve of Destruction" full lyrics:
Eve Of Destruction

By Barry McGuire, 1965

The eastern world it tis explodin',
violence flarin', bullets loadin',
you're old enough to kill but not for votin',
you don't believe in war, what's that gun you're totin',
and even the Jordan river has bodies floatin',
but you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.

Don't you understand, what I'm trying to say?
Can't you see the fear that I'm feeling today?
If the button is pushed, there's no running away,
There'll be noone to save with the world in a grave,
take a look around you, boy, it's bound to scare you, boy,
but you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.

Yeah, my blood's so mad, feels like coagulatin',
I'm sittin' here, just contemplatin',
I can't twist the truth, it knows no regulation,
handful of Senators don't pass legislation,
and marches alone can't bring integration,
when human respect is disintegratin',
this whole crazy world is just too frustratin',
and you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.

Think of all the hate there is in Red China!
Tehn take a look around to Selma, Alabama!
Ah, you may leave here, for four days in space,
but when your eturn, it's the same old place,
the poundin' of the drums, th pride and disgrace,
you can bury your dead, but don't leave a trace,
hate your next-door-neighbour, but don't forget to say grace,
and you tell me over and over and over and over again my friend,
ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.

20. its the only game they know
Whats the fastest way for a company to get money? Its not a dot-com IPO of the early 90's. Its not mergers or aquisitions. Its war. America's gabazillionaires are all deep into the idustrio/military complex

10. Here's mine
Been down this road before
Seems like yesterday we swore
we would never repeat the mistakes
but here we are once again
in the cross hairs of an administration
hell bent on destruction

Been down this road before
Made promises to ourselves
that never again would we be
fooled by the lies and schemes
of a government determined to seek its own
plans of domination

With shouts of Hell no we won't go
We stood and faced the establishment
what will it take this time
what will it take this time
Why do we sit idly by while our men and women die
Fighting a war with no direction

Been down this road before
Only time will tell where it takes us
will we put ourselves on the line
will we stand united
or will we fall to to those
whose cause is without reason

11. Dylan tune - John Brown
John Brown went off to war to fight on a foreign shore.
His mama sure was proud of him!
He stood straight and tall in his uniform and all.
His mama's face broke out all in a grin.

"Oh son, you look so fine, I'm glad you're a son of mine,
You make me proud to know you hold a gun.
Do what the captain says, lots of medals you will get,
And we'll put them on the wall when you come home."

As that old train pulled out, John's ma began to shout,
Tellin' ev'ryone in the neighborhood:
"That's my son that's about to go, he's a soldier now, you know."
She made well sure her neighbors understood.

She got a letter once in a while and her face broke into a smile
As she showed them to the people from next door.
And she bragged about her son with his uniform and gun,
And these things you called a good old-fashioned war.

Oh! Good old-fashioned war!

Then the letters ceased to come, for a long time they did not come.
They ceased to come for about ten months or more.
Then a letter finally came saying, "Go down and meet the train.
Your son's a-coming home from the war."

She smiled and went right down, she looked everywhere around
But she could not see her soldier son in sight.
But as all the people passed, she saw her son at last,
When she did she could hardly believe her eyes.

Oh his face was all shot up and his hand was all blown off
And he wore a metal brace around his waist.
He whispered kind of slow, in a voice she did not know,
While she couldn't even recognize his face!

Oh! Lord! Not even recognize his face.

"Oh tell me, my darling son, pray tell me what they done.
How is it you come to be this way?"
He tried his best to talk but his mouth could hardly move
And the mother had to turn her face away.

"Don't you remember, Ma, when I went off to war
You thought it was the best thing I could do?
I was on the battleground, you were home . . . acting proud.
You wasn't there standing in my shoes."

"Oh, and I thought when I was there, God, what am I doing here?
I'm a-tryin' to kill somebody or die tryin'.
But the thing that scared me most was when my enemy came close
And I saw that his face looked just like mine."

Oh! Lord! Just like mine!

"And I couldn't help but think, through the thunder rolling and stink,
That I was just a puppet in a play.
And through the roar and smoke, this string is finally broke,
And a cannon ball blew my eyes away."

As he turned away to walk, his Ma was still in shock
At seein' the metal brace that helped him stand.
But as he turned to go, he called his mother close
And he dropped his medals down into her hand.

14. These are hard, here is another shot
The choice is ours, said those sixties hippies marchin
Hangers gone, back alleys desertin
But hold on to your horses, says those fundies grinnin
We got the judges, and Bushie is smirkin
DeLay and Hastert got bills and arms are a twistin,
but you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction

21. a little sample from my show....
To the tune of “SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS”

CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR
EVERY TIME YOU HEAR HIM SPEAK
YOU WANT TO GRAB A HAMMER
BUT IF YOU DARE TO PROTEST
YOU'LL END UP IN THE SLAMMER
CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR

UM TERRA TERRA TERRA UM SMOKE ‘EM OUT
UM TERRA TERRA TERRA UM SMOKE ‘EM OUT

OUR GEORGIE IS NO ORATOR
AS YOU CAN PLAINLY SEE
AND READING OFF A MONITOR
HE DOES JUST AWFULLY
IT’S THE SAME SPEECH HE SPEECHED BEFORE
BUT STILL CAN’T GET IT RIGHT
I GET ANNOYED AT THIS DULL BORE
AND I CAN’T BE POLITE:

IT’S CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR
EVERY TIME YOU HEAR HIM SPEAK
YOU WANT TO GRAB A HAMMER
BUT IF YOU DARE TO PROTEST
YOU'LL END UP IN THE SLAMMER
CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR
(Whisper:)
CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR
(Full:)
CONVOLUTED SYNTAX AND A MANGLING OF THE GRAMMAR!
