Shortly after 9/11, when almost no other high profile people on the left would speak out, Michael Moore was out slamming Bush. When he released Stupid White Men, everyone saw that it was ok to tell the truth about Bush and you can even make money doing it.

Moore stood up when others wouldn't.

The right wing hates "uppity" lefties.

Moore sent out almost daily emails to his subscribers describing his trip across the country. I hadn't discovered DU yet, and his words meant SO MUCH TO ME!!! It was so good knowing I wasn't the only one who thought Chimpy was crazy with his "with us or with the terrorists" speech (i.e. I really need a third alternative!!!)

14. I saw a news brief

that was all in a flutter that Mike was using a firm in CANADA to do his web site. Why they are all upset about that I have no idea. Maybe it has to do with the outsourcing of jobs. So maybe he should have a us firm doing it. But it pails in comparison at what the shrub administration has let happen to our jobs.
