Wonder Why Bush Told the Saudis Before He Told The Americans?
Edited on Tue Apr-27-04 07:00 AM by The Lone Liberal
Bush told his buddy Prince Bandar, or as Barbara Bush has named him "Bandar Bush," that he was going to war during the time he was in-point-of-fact lying to the American people.

It makes you wonder what else the Saudis know that Bush has seen fit not to share with us. It would seem that Bush is a better president for the Saudis than he is for, as Bush calls us, "the average joe."

1. Of course numbnuts told his good buddies first!
Likely he was hoping for the same financial backing the Saudis gave Poppy during Gulf War, Part I.

3. The point (to me) isn't WHEN Bandar was told
But the fact that he was allowed to see Top Secret war plans at ALL. (All of which were clearly labeled "No Foreigners.") And afterwards, Bandar went back to his hotel and tried to reconstruct the maps from memory. I mean - WTF? Do we usually give ambassadors from foreign countries a complete review of our top secret plans? Especially when those top secret plans were to invade a country that had NOT attacked us and the guy who got the briefing was from a country that spawned most of the people who DID.

Can someone please explain why this is not totally egregious and why it is ignored both by the Dems and the press?

6. Yup - forgot about that - thanks
Supposedly she was "cleared" in that she gave money to a lot of charities and individuals and unknowingly gave some to an individual who paid the rent for one of the hijackers. But, Jeebus, even if it WAS innocent, that oughtta be enough to keep Bandar away from anything secret.
