I have no respect for any Neocon or their position/opinion.
I posted this in another thread as a reply, and have since been getting madder and madder until I am now in a pluperfect RAGE.

This is what I wrote:

The rePukes have demonstrated that at the core of their "beliefs" are elitism, racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, and religious bigotry.

Sorry if I sound like the Radical Fringe (thanks, Dory) but that's just the way it is. They are the new Romanovs, and after the eventual Revolution, I will delight in dancing on the graves of their philosophy, which, as I am a Socialist, I believe with all my heart will eventually come to pass.

Fuck them. I have nothing in common with them, I have sympathy for their victims of which I and my friends count ourselves, and as the song goes, "...there won't be any peace on Earth 'til every Nazi dies..." May it happen soon.

As a Bedouin curse puts it: "May ye die in the desert alone and unattended, may vultures consume thy flesh and sands thy blood."

Disclaimer: I am not advocating violence, mayhem, or any other action directed at any political pary or official of the administration. I am merely anticipating with glee the inevitable and eventual judgement of the people and history.

These "persons" call us traitors, fools, children, subversives, you name it. Respect is a mutually held opinion, and I don't respect any of them.

2. Neo-Cons are just the latest fad...
Right-wing Repubs have siezed upon to "sex up" their extremist image. When you look at how pitiful their military and foreign policy "prowess" is, and the arrogance of their rantings and ravings--not to mention the price we are paying for all that--the Neo-Con obcession also has to be one of the DUMBEST things Repubs have pulled in the last two decades!:eyes:

B-)

7. Consolation or despair
Edited on Tue Apr-27-04 09:56 AM by PATRICK
exhibiting dated OLD and impotent faux intelligence to back up one last desperate hijacking of the future in the name of a discredited past, these insufficient humans are fighting a useless rearguard action against evolution and change- against the universe that God created.

They can't "win" in any shape or form except to drag down God's creation in Satanic spite and pride. That is small consolation IF they succeed in tipping over the whole gameboard, but one thing is assured. As a personality type with all the destructive behavior that goes with it- such people will inherit absolutely nothing in the future. They will in fact become extinct, a black and sad anomaly in history books.

But so too might the whole human endeavor if we just sit back and let them. It is time for the sane, adults or children, to get these senile loons out of the seats of responsibility and out of the preferred places in the public forums.

You don't have to be a socialist to be a better human than these worst of "conservatives". They have dug their own graves. Save you dancing for celebration of the future.

3. Absolutely. Though the neo-liberals are no better
Check the history of those neo-cons. Many of them were considered big Liberals before they transitioned.

The problem is the neos, whatever you add after that... They're all rushing to that New World Order- that's the neo part of it we need to be wary of.

4. Any neocon
or willing stooge for the neocons is a treasonous fascist in my book.

they get no respect from me.

This transcends mere political differences and crosses over into issues of survival and right and wrong.

5. My uncle is exactly like you in his rage.
My younger brother is a kool-aid drinker. My uncle is so enraged at the neo-cons and republicans in general that he will no longer speak to my brother. He has good reason as his son will turn 18 this November and he strongly feels that if my brother was as compassionate as he claims, he would take into account his first cousin when he casts his vote this November. My uncle has firmly stated that if my brother votes republican in November and the draft is reinstated, my brother will never again be welcome in his house.

As for me, I no longer go out of my way to speak to my brother because I have 4 boys and care about their future. We see each other at family events and are cordial to each other but there is nothing beyond that.

Where have all the moderates gone?

8. It's their hypocrisy that gets to me.
They call Bill Clinton a draft dodger but they vote for an AWOL drunk and a draft dodger. They parse over Kerry's purple hearts but avoided military service themselves. They cried "wag the dog" during the Kosovo campaign but they support the big oil grab in Iraq. The pissed and moaned for years about deficits but when Bill Clinton brought spending under control they switched to pissing and moaning about taxes. Now the unelected fraud has broken all the records for incompetence and created record deficits and they support him all the way. It just goes on and on and it's sickening.
