Get Started: How You Can Help Defeat President Bush
Get Started: How You Can Help Defeat President Bush

Introduction:
George. W. Bush's horrendous tenure as President has awoken millions of citizens to the importance of participating in the political process. Americans from all walks of life, who have never taken part in the political process let alone a Presidential Campaign, are now ready to dive right in. Our number one priority: defeating President Bush on November 2, 2004.

As President, Bush has attacked the foundations of our Democratic values. We can no longer take the war mongering and habitual lying, the destruction of our civil liberties, and the complete lack of care or concern for human beings in need. Now is the time to take a stand for what we believe in: a foreign policy that focuses on the roots of terrorism, a government that is honest with its citizens, protecting and expanding American freedoms, and quality health care, jobs, education, social security, and environment for all Americans. Bush's actions contradict these values and I, along with millions of my fellow Americans, have had enough. Now is the time we fight back.

With our newfound confidence and courage to stand up for what we believe in, we have created the momentum and energy needed to take back the Whitehouse. It is crucial that we put our energy and resources to good use. We must think and plan strategically to make our actions as effective as possible so that every action increases the chance that Bush will lose. This essay provides all citizens with a starting point. Citizens will learn:

1. What to do and know before taking action.
2. The minimum actions everyone should take.
3. The five most important actions during the Presidential Campaign.

I am completely confident George W. Bush will be a one-term President given that citizens all over the country, just like you, are now getting involved in the political process. Every individual who takes action to defeat Bush increases the chance that Bush will lose. Not taking action would only increase his chances of winning. Thus, we must all take action and work to get as many additional people to join our movement to change the direction of America. The more people we have, the more powerful we will be.

You are welcome to print this out, make copies, hand out copies, and tell others. Every American should have the opportunity to transform themselves from ordinary citizens into extraordinary patriots. By telling others, at the very least, you are planting a seed. Now, for those whose seeds have bloomed, I offer without further hesitation:

6. Yeah, like slamming Senator Byrd
when he has been far and away the most effective anti-Bush speaker in the Senate.

12. It wasn't a non sequitor... it was pointing out
that the pot tends to call the kettle black.

8. IMPEACHMENT
http://votetoimpeach.org/

Two choices in getting rid of Bush. One is election, the other impeachment. The first is not a sure thing, (i.e., he could win) so pursuing the second is recommended.
