Yahoo's ratings "glitches"
Since Saturday, 3 articles I've tried to rate had those glitches where the ratings don't work. The latest is the Kerry press release on Cheney's lies. I wish I had a better memory, but I recall the other two being high impact stuff. What articles have you tried to rate in the last few days that had these "glitches"? Because this is starting to happen too often to be a coincidence, at least in my cynical little mind.

1. The Kerry article said
I was the only one that had voted. That is obviously wrong.

2. I just rated Cheney's Lies
Edited on Tue Apr-27-04 01:27 PM by librechik
I was the first one to do it! On the bottom of the rateit box it said "not rated" which I've never seen before, so I clicked on it and rated it anyway--Came up 5 with one voter--Me!

That was odd, but it wasn't a glitch.

11. I was the first person too
That is precisely what I'm talking about. It's happened on a couple of other stories, yesterday it was a Kerry story and over the weekend I don't remember if it was on the March or another Kerry story. It's weird.

5. You are absolutely correct. I know Excite has Freepers that regularly
"adjust" their online polls and probably other things.

Which is why their Bushevik Masters have "released their safeties" through the generous application of Nazi-style propaganda (I call it Goebbels v2.0).

Freeper Brownshirts need to be able to violate any ethic or law without thought or compunction.

I have seen with my own eyes the work Freeper Brownshirts have done to their employer Excite.com. I have no doubt they are doing the same thing wherever they are.

And you thought Nazis were big guys. No sometimes they are Euchmann types who work on computers and you'd never be able to recognize them as monsters capable of standing by and allowing or actually assist (if their Bushevik Masters require it) atrocities.

9. The mod on local newspaper's forums would change my profile, delete posts
There is no shortage of Bush shock troops out there. I wrote an email to the newspaper and they said they would look into it.

12. "Shock Troops" is close but wrong
"Sturmtruppen" is the correct term and analogy.

7. The Cheney Lies article is the only time it's happened to me
I generally rate a handful of articles and pictures on Yahoo every day, and this is the first time I have ever noticed that happening.

10. This is a good indication of how Computer Voting will work.
No wonder the Republicans are drooling over this. Just remember sometimes the errors are in our favor also.
