CNN breaks with tradition shows Video in full color of battle of Soldiers

storming a Mosque (looking like scenes from that show "Cops") where the soldiers rush in weapons drawn and then you hear them shouting orders at each other and firing on someone or some group. The shot pans to what looks like blood on a piece of equipment in the Mosque.

It was shot in full color and looked "staged" to me. Judy Woodruff said we just have film from what's been going on in Falluja today when she show that long clip.

How did they happen to have a video crew shooting in daylight in color "storming a Mosque" when we haven't seen anything like this before out of Iraq. The other pictures of bombings show it as nightime there.

Says to me that Karl Rove's "Propaganda Machine" has just ratcheted up what we will be seeing from now on.

This was alarming to me, of what we might be seeing as "produced" videos to get people all worked up here. As I said it was like one of those TV shows where the cops blast their way into someones home shouting.

I hope someone else notices this, or saw this clip. Because I don't want to think I'm losing it here! :crazy:

And did you see the brief bit at the end where the Marine gunner gets shot and screams, "FUCK!"? (At least that's how I heard it).

Not sure why they showed that, unless it's trying to prove that our guys are getting mowed down and we really really need to level a city of 200,000. I viewed it as propaganda to soften us up for the massive civilian casualties to come.

Maybe others who've watched more coverage have seen that kind of thing before. I don't watch much of CNN but had it on today when the bombing started and try to check at times through the day.

11. Looked staged to me....

at it's most real-it was nothing more than the final clean-up of a single sweep,where little danger is present.

The area was cleared and the soldiers were pulling back into postiion and taking assessment reports (wounded, status, etc.)

Otherwise, the entire operation was put into jeopardy..and security of operations breached.

1) I often see them run the same clip of some "soldiers firing at something" etc. over and over for weeks which is so misleading. They will start a story about Iraq and the magic video pops up as a prop. It's like talking about traffic deaths and keep playing the same car accident over every night! 2) Notice before they didn't want to show any combat because we might get upset of bullets and danger; but now ain't it precious, darlin', how it a-okay to show war, war, war and more. You damn right the order is to make this all war, all the time until November.

little too agressive, and what about the camera person? Since I heard that the "embeds" were having so many problems (read linked article here) they weren't even leaving their hotels (the few left in Iraq) it seemed a little strange that they had a "camera person" filming this Mosque Invasion."

Isn't "invading a Mosque" like having Muslims storm St. Patricks Cathedral on NYC, by the way?

To say that they were "invading a Mosque" would seem like waving a red flag in front of a Bull to Iraqi faithful.

16. I am losing it. I'm at my computer listening to CNN in background.

I feel like I truly am living in some kind of nightmare. I knew last year this would happen in Fallujah. I can't believe though that I am witnessing this and that we are powerless to stop it. Then I here the coverage they are giving on CNN and I just feel sick, hopeless and resigned to what is coming to pass in this country.

27. All three networks used this "video." Helpful Hubby said that Networks

had "US Pool Reporter" scrolling under the "green video of the Bombing of Fallujah, and other scenes from today" but when they went to the "Mosque Invasion Video" it was NOT CREDITED.

NOT CREDITED means in my way of thinking: "PENTAGON PROPAGANDA Feed."

All three networks showing the same video? And it follows what looked like the "Shock and Awe" from the Chimp's first invasion of Baghdad?

I watched two hours of "bombing of Fallujah" in "green time" today on CNN/MSNBC. The "Networks" lead their stories with a brief clip of this bombing and then switch to "Pentagon/Cops" video?
