Is Bush* or is he not for "Nation building"?
Bush* the candidate said in no uncertain terms that he was completely against "Nation Building". Now he says we must rebuild Iraq into a Democratic Nation. What is his true position? This was all within the last few years not something said or done thirty years ago. If we want to go back thirty years for Kerry then we must also go back thirty years for Bush* and Cheney (remember how they cried foul while campaigning) although we need only go back a year or more to find things coming out of Bush*'s mouth that are in stark contrast to what he uttered earlier. Does anyone know whether this administration and the Republican party is for Nation Building? If they are we should be going into Sudan soon I would gather. This question needs to be asked. Is the Republican Party for Nation Building? Simple question.

1. If a reporter had the balls to confront Bush with that question,
his answer would be something to the effect of, "9-11 changed everything."

But then again, I imagine that's his excuse for pretty much everything...

2. Okay so what , it changed everything
I want them to state matter of fact that they believe in Nation Building. If their beliefs changed because of 9-11 that is acceptable. A lot of folks have changed the way they view the world. Let's have it on record. What is their current position on Nation Building? do they support it? If the answer is yes then we have a list of nations a mile long that need some rebuilding efforts. If their answer is no then we need to get out of Iraq now. Did GOP step in it?

His answer would still be "9-11 changed everything."

9-11 is the excuse, the justification, for any flip-flop this Administration has made. Bush's last press conference demonstrated that; almost every answer came back to 9-11 or terrorism, regardless of the question.

In Bush's mind, anything he said in 2000 was voided by 9-11, with the exception of only a handful of ideas (such as tax cuts; Bush will never abandon his precious tax cuts, regardless of how much further they bury this country in debt).

8. Basically what I'm saying is Why the Hubub over Kerry's changing
thoughts in thirty years while they can't go two years without changing. For Whatever ReasonIf 9-11 works for them it also works for Kerry

7. He really wants "democracy" in the Middle East.
Then why not start with our good buddies?

Saudia Arabia? It seems he has some sort of "relationship" with them.

Libya? Kadafi's our pal now, right? Why doesn't HE have an election?

10. Democracy???
They don't want democracy. They want a puppet regime that will aid in exploiting American tax coffers and Iraqi oil revenues.
