I was born in Chile of an American father and have been considered a citizen since birth, even having an American passport issued to me by the consulate there, but I cannot run for President, being foreign born, but my father was neither military, nor a diplomat. I don't think Karen can either unless she was born when her parents were in residence in the American embassy or any such designated "American" territory, like a military base.
