Anyone know where Specter-Toomey results can be found?
As a Pennsylvanian, I probably should know this, but I don't.

1. I'm tracking the FR thread on the results

I just want to see their reaction to this...if Specter wins they'll have a melt down.

4. Why?
PA elected Santorum twice, so they could easily elect Toomey. However, there are pros and cons to each GOP candidate.

11. I think Toomey will pull it out
Turnout's been very light in the Philly area, where Specter needs to do well if he wants to win. However, we won't know until the numbers start coming in....

***0.00% of the statewide voting districts currently reporting***

To view a county-wide breakdown for a particular candidate, click that candidate's name.

13. That's how I saw it
25 % or less turnout for Toomey would probably give him a comfortable win. It gets more close as turnout goes up. I think they estimated that more than 35 is good for Specter.

10. Specter doubtlessly made a pact with the devil. . .
to get the endorsements and quality face time campaigning from both Bush and Santorum. In other words there was a hell of a lot of quid for that pro quo, ESPECIALLY since Specter would chair the judiciary committee. He will be rubberstamping everyone of the extremely fundamentalist judicial nominees which Bush will send to him. Political endorsements always come with the highest price the market will bear, and the common wisdom is that, close as this race has been, Specter had no chance without Bush and Santorum in his corner.
