Could not believe that Dennis Miller actually said in effect that
"he would cut Kerry some slack for serving in the war" He was rather adamant about it. If Miller says something like this, its a problem for Rove-Bush*.

1. I guess this weasel is sensing a change in the audience
responses to his jokes, so he is drifting back to the left again.

What a scummy chameleon this one is.

7. He is scum, that's for sure,
I remember how funny he was skewering the repukes after their 1992 convention. He called it "Caligula's barn-raising" and said (regarding the Clinton marijuana "scandal" where he said he tried it but didn't inhale) "remember the fuckheads who wouldn't inhale, what idiots we thought they were? Clinton ain't no idiot so I think he inhaled and SO FUCKING WHAT, we all did!"

I was SO disgusted with him when he turned into a raging wingnut.

2. Cool
Reminds me of a time, long ago, when I thought Miller was witty. I actually enjoyed DM for years. Mr. Miller Goes to Washington was one of my all time favorite stand-ups. Then he turned. It was like watching a train wreck. I don't feel sorry for him though. He's turned into little more than a joke. Brought on by his own foolishness.

24. I don't watch football so...
I missed whatever happened to him while he was exposed to all of those lunkheads. But, I certainly was shocked when he reappeared, suddenly spouting Repug/Libertarian nonsense. Maybe he had a stroke, or something. He seemed too intelligent to think he could just change his political opinions 180 degrees and be taken seriously.

8. what a whore....
dennis miller used to be one of my favorites. after he got fired by hbo,and then by monday night football, he prostituted hisself to get the job he has now. he was always a liberal until they waved the $$$$$$$$$ in front of him, and then all of a sudden he becomes a conservative. i'll never watch him again, nor would i ever go to see his stand up act which i did before. i have lost all respect for him,as have a lot of other people,. after all, he has no respect for himself.

9. Yeah, it's hard to have respect for yourself...
when they're paying your audience to be on your damn show! Supposedly they did the same thing when "Dr." Laura's show was becoming FUBAR.

fucking nice of him. La-dee-DA! He's gonna cut him some slack, huh? How MAGNAMINIOUS of the bastard who never served.

Kinda like how Chucklenuts said he just KNOWS that brown people can self-govern. There's that word magnaminious again.

Assholes, the lot of 'em. Kerry doesn't need seventh-rate has-been washed-up Dennis Miller to cut him any slack.

22. I totally agree...."cut him some slack"???? WTF?
It must drive Kerry up a fucking wall to hear rat faced losers like Miller "grudgingly" acknowledge his war service...like it was a goddamn term in school!

But, I guess he's used to that.

11. I heard one onf the..
RWers on Hardball giving Kerry credit for serving in Vietnam.

Maybe they figured out that ctiticizing a decorated Vet. for protesting a war he served in honorably whole their guys were getting deferrments and going AWOL isn't the best strategy in the world.

I'm guessing it has a lot to do with the way Kerry has responded. He's no Gore.

12. Have to agree with you. Good response from JKF...
... but new firmware is being downloaded to the pukeprograms as we speak. Bush-bots will strike up a different chorus and not even remember talking about this 3 weeks from now, or so they'll claim. I'm guessing wife issues are due for a run. It's cicada-like!

14. Who the fuck is Dennis Miller to be cutting John Kerry "some slack...
for serving in the war"? Arrogant, patronizing, no-talent jerk-off (without an audience)
Too little, too late.

20. I didn't watch it......but I'm gonna e-mail him now
I'm going to tell him that, for the first time, I actually kept his show on for longer than 30 seconds. And that if he keeps up with his improvement I will become a big fan, because I loved him on SNL. I will tell him that he seems to be gettin' his old zing back.

Good for either cognitive dissonance or change!

There is always a chance.

If he goes after Kerry too badly, it'll make him look like the jerk he is when Kerry wins. He's still an annoying whore.
