2. Sort of...
Seven of us appeared at our meet-up. No one had the agenda, although two of us had read the agenda and sort of remembered it. No designated host, as far as anyone knew.

Lots of enthusiasm, not much focus. We'll see.

3. that was our basic thing

sounds very similar. We knew what the agenda was, and we were in an internet cafe so we had computer access, the ACT guy looked all the stuff up. But it was sort of goofy.

What was really annoying was that none of the people who voted for that venue actually showed. So that people like me had to go a half hour out of our way for people who didn't bother to show up.

5. We had something like 20 people vote for that venue
and close to that many people RSVP as yes. Our show was 6, one of which hadn't RSVP'd. I would really love to get a hold of some of those people who did that as it was pretty annoying. But, at least the ACT guy made it worthwhile. I may even get a summer job out of it, which would be really great.

8. No, Cincinnati.
We were supposed to have something from either Meet-up or HRC tonight as well, I can't remember which.

9. Assuming it works the same way as the Dean ones did
the host or in my meet up's case, hosts get stuff mailed to them by the HRC so that we have addresses and supplies to write the letters. Since I didn't sign to be a host, I don't know for sure that is how it worked.
