For thouse who you who don't know the term FUD is an acromnym for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. This is all they have to sow, because their record is abysmal.

I think Chimpy is done soon,they are running on fumes at this point. If Chimpy slips up on thursday, that plus the aftermath if this Mass Murder in Fallujah may be the end of him.

I became familiar with the term FUD in conjunction with Microsoft, the Roman Empire of software corporations. In that context what happens is
1. someone comes to market with a product.
2. Microsoft puts out rumours that they are releasing something like that, too
3. They seed fears that if you buy the competitors version, you'll be left behind.
4. They release updates to their platform that cause the competitors product not to work anymore.
5. They eventually come to market with two consecutive crappy iterations of a ripoff product that takes the same ideas but changes the nomonclature
6. They cloud the market with false tests that are designed to demonstrate their advantages.
7. They kill the competitor and hopefuly get their product usable by version 3.0

They have a shoddy product, and FUD is their best marketing strategy.

Now, lets talk about users! Some love Bill Gates and all things Microsoft, some don't want to admit that MS is crap because they are stuck w it and everybody else uses it.
