The precincts that have yet to report are rural, and may well go Toomey's way.

12. Another good thing is that this may help convince moderate Republicans |
|
that they have no future in the GOP and to come over to the Democratic Party. Then we will gain reliable voters and can tell the ultra left to just go away. Gawd, I hope Toomey wins tonight, I think this will be the wake up call if MR. Moderate Republican loses tonight.

14. More than make up for those that would go to Nader. They are unreliable |

anyway. Village Voice article was another straw on this camel's back. The ultra left can kiss my ass, I have come to realize that they are not serious about gaining political power for those they claim they represent. I want to help people go forward, to hell with em.

41. That attitude is why nader will geet more than 2.7 million votes |
|
and the dems will continuously complain when more people break, and still act like a monkey with his head in the sand, while his pack moves on. The party elite could learn a thing or two from bush, he is appealing to the far right to no end. Hence less votes for the offshoots, in fact other than the conservative party and prohibition party which will get about 2,000 votes nationwide, they have no one to worry about, while about 6-10 million votes will be cast for nader this year, whom i dont support (as of yet-still doing research)

Reliable in what sense?
And how NICE of you to plan on dumping the entire left wing of our party.
Didn't the Republicans do that under Nixon? And look what they became.

30. They are the ones doing the dumping . They are for the most part |

worthless. Note: I said ULTRA left wing. All they do is complain- they are not serious about obtaining real political power. Any reading of the threads and the post here should have told you that by now. I am not going to walk on egg shells around them anymore.

accomplish nothing. You are not reading all of what I am saying, they have accomplished nothing for those that they claim to represent. I think more could be accomplished if the more progessive wing of the Republican party were to leave and join the Democratic party.

One is rounding error. The other is people writing in other people. Those ballots do get counted in at least some places.

But Shuster losing is still good to us. It's a blow to the Republican establishment and DelGrosso would have less clout. Also he might turn out to be slightly more tolerable than Shuster, and he couldn't be worse.
