How high are the gas prices in your area?
I'd say the average here is around $2.07. I'm about just out side of Seattle.

3. About 81 cents a litre - that'd be $3.06Cdn for an American Gallon
.
.
.

so about $2.30 USD

For the curious:

The American gallon is defined as 3.786 litres

The Imperial Gallon is 4.54 Litres (us Canuks measure by the Imperial gallon)

So therefore - to us Canuks - one of our gallons now costs us $3.68

Add about another 10cents a litre for super/premium

4. Its $2.07 here too. San Diego
At the cheap ARCO,AM/PM stations. The closer to the ocean or freeway on ramps the higher goes the price.

7. $2.23 in Yucca Valley (near Palm Springs, CA)
We're just outside Joshua Tree National Park, so it's a kick watching those guys with their Super RVs fill up, knowing it's going to really hurt! And that they probably voted for *.

8. cheapest for regular...$1.95 a gallon....
here in Portland Oregon....The Arco stations (why are they always the cheapest?)...I've seen signs for premium up to $2.35...looks like 3 bucks a gallon by the end of summer is a definite reality here! But then, like a scene out of the old movie serials, this fall I expect Prince Bandar to come galloping to the rescue, riding an old but determined horse, helping the Bush Monarchy regain the unfailing adulation of all the masses, by increasing OPEC production and lowering the price of gas, to about, I'd say, $1.95 a gallon for regular...

It doesn't really effect me too much, but all the people in this area with Suburbans, Escalades, Excursions, and H2s are hating life.

and the pumps went up a nickel, then the gas stations blamed the raise on the tax hike.

19. Enjoying your "tax cuts"???
Bush said it was important to put the money back in our pockets because "it's your money". Not for long, of course, as any tax cut is now comprising extra family budget money that can go right to Chevron.

22. Suburbs of Columbus Ohio
Well, it was $1.68 until lunch, and then it did the rise to $1.899, which is where it will stay until at least Monday, right after lunch, then it will go down, until Wednesday right before lunch, then it will go back up. This trend will continue until everyone moves their fill up schedule to Tuesday, then they will start raising it on Tuesday before lunch...
