Stern is beating the crap out of FAUX NEWS |
|
He called it the American Al Jazeera. He is beating them up for attack Theresa Heinz Kerry. He is talking about how pro Bush it is. . .he is on fire. Just beating the crap out of FAUX! He said Bush should not even buy TV commercials. . .he has a whole network devoted to him.

2. Only on some Clear Channel stations... |
|
Infinity still has him and he's in independant syndication, too.
XM and Sirius has him if you have those.

8. Where on XM or Sirius is Howard? |
|
I think he is in negotiations with XM, but nothing is done yet. I thought Sirius backed out because Howard is too expensive.

19. Well, that's what I heard... |
|
That he was on XM and Sirius. Not suscribing to either of those, I can't confirm.
Sorry if I got your hopes up :-)

Just not any Clear Channel stations...His home station is in NY and that is owned by Infinity Broadcasting, so any stations owned by them are running Stern

10. Wonder if we'll be hearing Stern on Air America soon? |
|
If he keeps up the bashing he'd be an excellent candidate. I get the feeling that Stern is a real pit bull when he gets riled up. :D

. . .let Stern live his politically incorrect existence on Infinity. I am huge fan, but Stern could not Stern on Air America, a lot of his humor, which I enjoy, would offend a lot of Air America listeners. Let Stern be, lets enjoy his anti-Bush rants, but let him be Stern!

12. Actually I agree with you. |
|
Stern isn't really a dedicated liberal fighting for democratic causes. He's just mad as hell and determined to get even. More power to him, but it's uncertain how he'd react if the wind starts to blow from another direction.

13. Maybe AA could just play the Stern "Bush Rant of the Day" or something... |
|
that way we would not have to be subjected to all the other SternCrap.

. . .we practice a ton of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" on this site, too much of it. I happen to be a big fan of Howard Stern, Greg Palast, Lou Dobbs, et al. . .but these people often speak truth to power and the minute we have a president Kerry they will set their sites on them. I have no problem with that, but many on this board will feel betrayed when that happens. Its important to put your allies in perspective. If we are going to celebrate these individuals when they are on our side, we need to show them a little respect when they are not (and trust me that time will come).

17. True, my wife loves Howard Stern but he seems to foster a |
|
disrespectful attitude towards women.
I totally support his right to say what he wants. I think it is a form of artistic expression, which I am always, always supportive of. I personally don't like his schtik but hey, I am glad he has gotten a little political.
Boob and fart jokes are just kinda dumb after a while.
I say more power to him, maybe he will make some sort of wholesale conversion to standing up for free speech and being more political.
I think he should be a guest on AAR for sure, as for him having his own show....I don't know, it wouldn't bother me but I know it would bother a lot of folks. Other than ratings I am not sure how it would help unless he refrained from all the juvenile talk and turned his talents (and yes, I think he has talent) toward political matters.

16. Cool - I sent a LTTE the other day calling them Fox-Jazeerah |
|
I basically said that the only reason flip-flopping Bush has an image of certainty is because he is promoted as having one by Fox Jazeerah News, talk radio and most of the rest of the media out there.
Hopefully, the image will stick.
