2. Truce??? Can you tell us office rats what he is saying?
Those repukes wouldn't let the whole thing rest. It just shows what idiots they are.

What a comparison:

Vietnam Hero Kerry vs. AWOL, drunk-driving, coke-snorting Bush

Go ahead...make my day

7. I just got to listen to a Democrat who was telling the truth about
Edited on Wed Apr-28-04 10:12 AM by LittleApple81
all the crap about Kerry being spewed by the Republicans. Then McCain said "Kerry OK, National Guard (of course he was talking about the National Guard now not during the Vietnam war) OK.... so let's not continue with these arguments, etc. etc."
(not verbatim, just what I remember).

4. Damage Control by Rove
Send out McCain to try to unruffle feathers. Too fucking late. Another example of rove's political brilliance. All his hate and smears work perfectly WHEN NOBODY FIGHTS BACK.

5. McCain should demand Bush condemn the attacks on Kerry
Edited on Wed Apr-28-04 10:21 AM by JI7
sorry, mccain, but we are going to fight back this time. kerry wouldn't have made the guard thing an issue if right wingers had not gone after and attacked kerry's service. it's well known bush gets others to do the dirty work for him. he is coward as he has always been.

9. the way to defeat bullies is to stand up to them
each and every time they try their tactics. They are cowards by nature and like roaches in behavior... scurry for cover whent the lights come on...

Bawwaahhahahahahahahah, scurry you silly, pesky roaches, we have a nation to govern... out of our way as we restore responsible leadership to the nation.

8. Screw you, McCain. Your guys started it.
Now WAR HERO Kerry will FINISH it.

I know you repukes don't think accountability applies, but you're just going to have to face the music on this one, CHICKENHAWKS.

How sickening that McCain, who actually SERVED, is defending these subhumans.

What is this crap? Are we going to name the country after Reagan? It looks it is the only thing left...

11. EXCUSE ME
Talk to frickin Cheney, if you can McCain. I love the GOP SOP. Shoot someone, and then as you cock your hammer to fire again, realizing that your target is armed as well, call "Um, truce, we really don't want more bloodshed."

Learn a lesson Kerry, NO TRUCE, because as SOON as you turn your back, their snipers are going to try and pick you off.

15. McCain should be a "referee" for the WWE
You know the scene - the referee has his back turned while the bad guy beats the crap out of the good guy with a chair, then turns around just in time to see the good guy take the chair away from the bad guy and start to retaliate and jumps in to stop it.

16. I wonder how many times the House and Senate attacked Bob Dole
Edited on Wed Apr-28-04 10:42 AM by zbdent
or George H. W. Bush on their service record on WWII?

None.

Seems like the Repukes have a tendency to serve their country during the 60s and 70s by being in the National Guard/Coast Guard/dorm study group/whatever, while the Dems have had to actually pick up a gun and fire it at an enemy.

Not all (on either side of the aisle), but the trend.

on edit, made George W. into George H. W.

17. Just like all repugs.
They attack first. Their minions distort and lie. The run with it as far as they can.

We fight back, you know, just try to get the truth out.

Right away, they want a truce because they don't want this to get ugly.

To sum up, we'll fight as long as you can't fight back.
