Cheney's behavior on 9/11
I just started reading Clarke's "Against All Enemies." Cheney's behavior on the morning of 9/11 is either incredibly outrageous, strange, and disturbing or more evidence of LIHOP. (Or all of the above)

Who's the asshole who keeps hanging up the phone? (Connecting the VP/Condi to the crisis center Clarke was managing) Uh, that's the VP, sir. This would be hilarious if it hadn't occurred during the worst tragedy in our nation's history. I wonder how much shit Dick (Cheney) has caught in Washington just for the one line in Clarke's book.

Not to mention the equally disturbing scene described in that room where the VP, Condi, Lynne Cheney, Mary Matalin were holed up. Lynne Cheney turning down the feed to Clarke so she can hear CNN. The whole disgraceful lot of them coming up with the political response to the attack. With all that going on, who has time for the, um, DEFENSE OF OUR DAMN COUNTRY????!!??? :argh:

Even on that day, the entire Bush Machine is dedicated to politics and politics alone. How and when did governance become so obsolete?

Boy Howdy! The Mayberry Machiavellis get their dirty laundry aired out.

Excuse me while I :puke: .

2. And in a "bizarre coincidence," he was in the situation room
that morning to "monitor a CIA-staged simulation" of planes crashing into buildings.

3. I just read your thread, Minstrel Boy

We're on the same wavelength about who was in/out of the loop that day. (ANd there being loops w/in loops)

I never saw the full significance of the running of that simulation before- thank you for linking to that thread. I'm bookmarking it.

The picture is becoming clearer and clearer, isn't it? That story really does put them in a pickle. The "simulation" cover story contradicts their main defense for not getting the fighter jets to intercept in time. Wow.

5. You're right, it does contradict their main defense.
And it's funny how little we've heard of the "simulation" since the story was leaked. Seems like a trial balloon, as though they were making it up as they went, to see what could best cover their tracks.

I wonder if Cheney will be asked about it. Just kidding - of course he won't!

10. So this is why they are making Cheney and W testify together?
It's not cause W is too stupid and Cheney has to keep his leash tight. It is because they need to take the spotlight off of Cheney. That's why they want Bu$h to answer most of the questions. Bu$h did nothing, what the fuck is there to ask him? It is Cheney and his actions that are the key to this thing.

It seems Cheney ran the thing from the WH Situation Room? If this is true, then this is even worse than MIHOP. This is the most heinous crime in human history. And it seems, it was planned and executed by the people in control of our own government.

Even thought I follow this stuff, and know what evil bastards these warmongers really are, it is still hard to wrap my brain around the fact that our own people did this to us. Imagine how much harder this is for most ordinary Americans, who don't even want to pay attention to this stuff?

9. They claim their guilt with their actions
Truth and justice don't need to hide in the shadows.

But Evil thrives on it.

7. Not to change the subject but Clarke sure did use the word "snatch"
quite often in the first half of the book.:-)

8. Poor Americans are all disposable according to the Neo-Fascists
Remember this, and make sure all others know this.

OFU - One Fodder Unit - is George Bush Senior's term to describe the average American citizen.

Think about it.

11. We're all a bunch
of useless eaters. Don't you know, we are using up all of their resources?

The sooner they get rid of most us, the more they will have for themselves and they won't have to continue destroying the environment on such a massive scale.
