2. Beyond physically carrying bush and all his henchmen out of OUR
White House?

I'd station them at polls in various spots around the country, especially in Florida and other "in play" states. We need eyes watching there. The precinct people need to know there are people watching them, to keep the shenanigans to a minimum. I'd use them for sentry duty to safeguard the election process - and thwart any attempts to rig stuff, or intimidate or otherwise turn voters away.

3. Picketing media outlets
CNN and the NYTimes, especially. I'd draw up a list of lies they've perpetrated, demand a public explanation of them, and have picketers clog their driveways until something happened.

Nothing else matters much. The media is now the PR department of the Republican party. Until we find a way around that, we will have nothing. Kerry is blasting Bush with both barrels, and even Democrats aren't hearing about it much.

5. I'm with you two
Hold the media accountable -- have them constantly phoning them, complaining about bias, calling them on their lies and intential "mistakes," and holding them up to public ridicule.

That's one of the reasons why the MediaHorse's departure is so disturbing -- you know it was read by inside-the-Beltway types who secretly snickered when one of their colleagues was called on the carpet. Now there is no forum for doing that, and no way to let them know -- in a highly visible way -- that we are on to them and will call them on their unprofessionalsim and whoredom.

8. Get the word out those 18-25 are going to be drafted if they don't
vote Kerry. And the rest of us, the best chance for MORE diplomacy and LESS war is Kerry. Is that a hard concept to understand?

11. Make the issue of a permanent US base in Iraq an issue
Bush* and the PNACers want to establish a permanent military presencein Iraq as a first step in their plans to dominate the entire Middle East. IMO, stopping this should be the number one priority for anyone who opposes the PNACersa and it's imperialistic designs. Kerry should get out in front of this issue and ask the American people if they want the US to establish a permanent military presence in Iraq, or if they prefer that we pull out as soon as possible instead?

12. Registration or the media
Honestly not sure which. I have harped on the fact that Democrats actually have EVERY election won, if we just get people to the polls. At the same time, the media is just AWFUL and we've got to get control of them for the long haul. However, I'm also concerned that all they do with email campaigns is count the highest number of emails on a particular story, decide it's popular, and keep running with it because it gets viewers. Doesn't matter whether it's positive or negative, lots of email means lots of viewers. So a media campaign would have to be phone calls that tie up their phone banks, targeting sponsors and visible protests. And 1,000 strong sit-in at CNN would be totally cool!

13. "phone calls that tie up their phone banks"
i still say: direct action, on their live cameras.

make THEM the STORY.

emails and phone calls they can ignore, people putting: THEY ARE LYING TO YOU in front of their cameras.... can't ignore that.

17. I agree
But doing what you say, along with disrupting their business activities by tieing up phone lines, would be a double whammy. And I really want to see a CNN sit-in. Just for fun!

I can't decide which one.

Not the main priority, but I would like to start organizing volunteers from out of state to help in swing states.

23. Wah?
Organizing ten people is difficult. What do you want them to do? If it is only one thing then, be really sure what you want them to do. Make sure there are no variations on the theme. Keep it simple? I dunno. It will morph just like a plant and unless you are a good pruner and fertilizer the idea can become a weed. I am not a lot of help am I?
