That about sums it up kids. Bush doesn't have the intelligence or wisdom to deal with world problems and lead us out of Iraq. His solution is a draft, your blood for their greed and lack of judgment.John Kerry has the life experiences,the intelligence and the vision to lead our country out of this hell we are now in and into a better place. While john Kerry was in Nam. getting shot at dodging bullets, saving lives, and getting wounded,having his friends die right in front of him. W.Where Was he Wrong Way Bush? was in Tex.Drunk and missing! W. probably couldn't even find The Mekong Delta in Vietnam ON A MAP if he tried! Please take the time to read Tour of Duty by Douglas Brinkley and you will begin to see and appreciate who and what Kerry is really all about. 1. I hate to say it, but I don;t think a draft can be avoided regardless

Bush has so fucked up the military I don't think there is any way to fix it without resorting to a draft.

2. A vote for the Democrats may ALSO be a vote for the draft.

You do know , don't you, that the only legislation introduced to Congress for reinstating the draft was written and sponsored by Democrats? If either , Kerry or bush states they are in favor of the draft, I will vote for the other guy(provided the other guy opposes the draft). For me, it's the only single issue that could sway my vote.

I think a draft is only avoidable with a total reversal of the "Bush Doctrine." Only if we embody humility, introspection, and eat some serious "roast crow" is this situation at all redeemable.

4. The Military Will Be Against the Draft...

Draftees don't make the best soldiers, sailors, marines, etc., because few of them want to be in the service, let alone wanting to fight a war. I know the JCS will object to any politician who wants to supplement troop strength by adding draftees to the ranks of those who volunteered. John Kerry will use diplomacy to reverse the inept policies of the Bush administration and try to build international cooperation in fighting the war against terrorism. It is critical that we evict Bush from the White House! THE essential event that will mark the beginning of restoring peace to the world.
